Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis on a working ranch. Built in the late 1800's. Immigrant family homestead. The Indians use to meet under the large oak trees in the front yard. The cottage is about a 5 minute drive to town, so you have the advantage of being peacefully out in the country enjoy the dark night sky full of stars. There are 3 AC window units in the Cottage, the Living room, the Master and the Kitchen, the house easily cools to 70 degrees on a hot day.

Visit a local winery, cruise on a boat, hike the Canyon Lake Gorge, catch some sun at the “lake beach”, float the Guadalupe River with a beverage of choice or slide down the Schlitterbahn Waterpark tubes. Canyon Lake is truly a fun/relaxing place!

River Roost is a family vacation spot on the lake that sleeps 6. It is 3 miles off Interstate 35, located in a quiet neighborhood with access to 50 feet of waterfront. It is a quick trip to downtown New Braunfels with features such as Schlitterbahn waterpark, tubing, antique and grocery stores, department stores, and a great selection of restaurants. A guest binder is provided with information about the area and surrounding communities.

The full kitchen makes cooking easy, and you’ll have a dining table for four, washer and dryer, 65” Roku TV, and fiber internet to keep you connected.

Cozy romantic cottage on a gently sloping yard on the beautiful Blanco River. View the stars in the amazing hot tub. There is an outdoor shower that I am improving upon regularly. Turkey and deer are frequent guests to the back yard. Sleep to the sounds of the river flowing by. Smart TV, full kitchen, charcoal grill, outside dining table and also visiting chairs....enjoy!
