Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Loup of Fintry, The loch lomand National Park and the Trossachs are all a short drive away.The village has a pub and a hotel both serving meals Its a great place to be based as there are plenty country walks , Mugdock country park. The exclusive electric hot tub is covered with a custom made wooden shelter for ultimate privacy and shelter from the Scottish weather. The sole hut is located in a small private paddock at the back of our farm in the village of Banton.
