8 + acres w/ Fully Private separate entry facing pond & lake ,one bedroom with queen bed, living room with queen pull out couch , TV etc, dining room, full kitchen, and bathroom is wheelchair accessible, host main house above, Summer: kayaks and canoes , fishing, ducks & pond , full gardens. Pizza night is every Saturday . Winter: snow shoes skating, ice fishing ,curling ,lots of winter activities. Access to canoe & kayaks (experienced paddlers only) & firewood included. Inside you'll find many amenities like wifi, satellite tv, and a full kitchen. Down the street you'll find shops and restaurants, and a little further is Petroglyphs Provincial Park, the largest concentration of petroglyphs in Canada, with some over 1000 years old.

Forest Yurt

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Pretty Stoney Lake Cabin Suite -No Cleaning Fee

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does Not include the entire cabin. Has a kitchenette with BBQ outside, not a full kitchen. Christine's Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.

Stay beside the North River in our charming guesthouse cabin. Private riverfront to launch canoes or kayaks Public Boat launch across the road. Short drive to several lakes, the Trent Severn, multiple parks, extensive off roading & snowmobiling trails. Single loft with two twin beds that can easily be put together to make a king and a comfy queen size sofa bed on the main floor. Wood stove is the primary heat. Well cared for pets and their responsible owners are welcomed!

My place is on a dead end street, close to family-friendly activities, small towns, fishing, horseback riding and swimming . It is rural and quiet. The cabin is spacious, fully equipped, clean and comfortable. It is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Bedroom 1: queen with a single on top. Bedroom 2: double with a single on top. Living-room has a sofa bed in. *Please note our "NO PETS" policy. There are two cabins on the property.
