A cozy cabin over looking the Manistee River on a very safe & peaceful private drive. There are many launch sites for rafting, kayaking and canoeing nearby. The cabin is centrally located between Cadillac, Interlochen, Frankfort & Traverse City. Snowmobile staging area, Caberfae & Crystal Mt. ski areas, Hodenpyle dam backwaters, North Country & Manistee River trails are nearby. Also with a three night stay we will drop you off or pick you up using your canoes or kayaks. Pictures are current.

The HOUSE SHARED bathroom has it's own side entrance, across from the Cabin. There is a SUMMER SHARED porta-potty and proper shower, right close by, as well. Little Cabin in the woods surrounded by State and Federal land, snowmobile, ATV and bike trails. Quick 30 mins drive to beautiful Lake Michigan. Cabin is heated in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Kitchen has dishes and a coffee pot for that fresh first cup. The Cabin is rustic and sets in the woods and is visited by nature. The local residents are deer, bear & squirrels. No WiFi(yet), but we have two TVs with local channels. Fire Pit and outside grill.

Log cabin hand built by my dad in the early 70’s (my mom helped too!). Live like the Brady Bunch with authentic orange kitchen counters, with modern updates like a cozy gas stove, great knives and cookware, and high-quality linens. Private and fenced with deck and fire pit. Cabin is central to the Manistee National Forest, a short jaunt up to Sleeping Bear Dunes or Crystal Mountain, and the North Country Trail is just down the road. Ask me about fishing charters!
