Relax under the stars in the stone outdoor bath or choose to soak indoors in the antique clawfoot bath. Sit in the landscaped gardens or stroll into town for a coffee or some dinner.

Enjoy the most stunning sunsets from the deck, feed the friendly cows or pick from our organic fruit orchard as you immerse yourself in all that slow living offers. Perfect for a solo stay or for couples curious about off-grid living, this hidden gem is a serene escape for the sustainably minded.

Rene's Cottage: Creekside Paradise. On creek bank.

Peaceful creek and ocean beach access. 200m walk to surf beach. 35 minutes from Tweed Rail Trail. This rail trail is accessible from Burringbar, Mooball or Murwillumbah which are all less than 35 minutes from Rene's Cottage. There are pelicans, herons, osprey and marine animals. Can comfortably accommodate 2 adults. Whale watching June >> November. All cooking equipment, bed linen and towels supplied. Kayaks and crab pots; no extra, but no pets. Check in time 2pm. Check out time is 10am.
