This place is beautiful and great for families. They had everything that you would need! Even a baby gate to keep infants/toddlers safe! They had a bunch of games to play with children! It was a perfect weekend!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Airbnb, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The home was exactly as pictured immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly cozy. Every detail felt thoughtfully chosen to create a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect quiet and scenic, yet still close to local attractions and conveniences. We especially appreciated the little touches that made our stay extra special, from the comfortable beds and well-stocked kitchen to the charming outdoor space where we enjoyed our morning coffee. Our host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in and communication a breeze. It’s clear they care deeply about their guests’ experience, and it made all the difference. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

The cabin was just as described. It was decorated nicely and had a stocked kitchen garage with ping pong air hockey and a wonderful hot tub! Peaceful and private we enjoyed the rain while relaxing inside. We ate at a newer restaurant called the Rex family restaurant highly recommended!

The house was as described, convenient location to the lake, the house was a really cool set up, plenty of room. Jeremy and McKenzie were very responsive. I would recommend staying with them.

Comfortable and spacious for our party of 6! All beds were comfortable and everyone slept great. We loved the fire pit, Blackstone grill, and hot tub. Plenty of extras (coffee, spices, trash bags, detergents, etc). I love an owner that allows furbabies as we don’t leave our dog behind. We hiked some awesome trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. A great getaway!

Thank you for a great stay. Enough space for our entire family. Our daughter loved having the loft to herself with her own bathroom, and the boys loved having the basement with their own bath and the game room. We enjoyed the hot tub a few times during our short stay, cooked burgers on the grill, enjoyed sitting out on the screened in porch, and playing Pickleball on the community courts. I’m sure the pools and the lake would be amazing in the summer. Host included beach/hot tub towels, so no need to bring those. Fully workable kitchen with lots of options for cooking. Dollar General is just 10-15 minutes away, and Somerset is just under 30 minutes (all kinds of shopping options, restaurants, movies, mini golf,etc). We enjoyed hiking at the Natural Arch Rock and Cumberland Falls area during our visit, but there’s lots more in the area to do.

My family and I have stayed at quite a few places and I will say that Cabins On The Cumberland stood out amongst the rest when it came to kitchen and bathroom items. Our cabin was STOCKED with literally everything you could possibly need. Need a crockpot? no worries they got it. Forget your feminine products? no worries they got you covered. Charcoal? Coffee? Margarita glasses? You name it they had it at our cabin. The cabin was also VERY clean and the hottub didn't have an overwhelming amount of cleaner in it so it made it easy to hangout in there without getting nauseous from your typical hottub cleaner fumes. The area was great. It has a relaxing country vibe and we even had a little frog visit us on the porch. There were quite a few wasps on the porch making homes but if you don't bug them they won't bug you. Our only concern was the flooding in the area and a few trees and branches were down due to all of the rain that weekend but we managed! Definitely a 5star stay.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the cabin! The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful as well! Brandon went out of his way to ensure we were in the loop regarding potentially icy/weather and road conditions, and was very communicative and accommodating! We had a great experience and would definitely stay again!

I live locally and needed a few days of rest and relaxation. This cabin is beautiful and Susan is the sweetest. She surprised me with some sweet touches to celebrate my birthday and was always available and attentive if I had any questions. The views were amazing and it's so peaceful. The amenities are as described and the full kitchen a plus. Everything was absolutely perfect and I felt at home and enjoyed my stay. I'll definitely be getting some friends together to have a weekend girls trip. I even mentioned I was bringing a bottle of wine and she set out a wine basket for of supplies for me. Definitely a great experience and will be visiting again.

Arthur is an amazing host. His cabin is like a little piece of heaven. It is fully stocked for cooking & has supplies for doing your laundry. We have stayed there several times and already look forward to our next trip to Kentucky.

Very close to the river and the lake. I've stayed here twice and I'll be back. You don't keep going to the same place unless it's great!

Absolutely loved this place!! We’ve been home for two days and my husband keeps saying he just wants to be back on the deck drinking coffee and stress free! We didn’t get to see our son and daughter-in-law much because they got sick, but definitely not a wasted trip. Visited the battlefield in Nancy and the Trout Hatchery at wolf creek dam. Very enjoyable! Thank you!!

Adams place is what I have been looking for as a fisherman. Plenty of parking with a boat ramp only 1/2 mile away and very private. I will be back to this house many times. Very clean and Adam was very responsive when we had a question.

Another great stay for our great nieces 8th Birthday! Everything was super clean, well stocked and had everything we needed plus more. Elsie is an awesome host that is super prompt in getting back to you. The stay is always pleasant and we feel at home! I can't wait for our next stay at Elsies place!

this place was beautiful and perfect for a couple! the only thing I would want people to know is that if you are pulling a trailer, it is very tricky to maneuver. a small trailer wouldn't be as bad but we had a 24 foot hauling 2 sxs, and we had to back all the way out to the road. even though it shows it's a circle back there, it's a very sharp turn and narrow. we had friends staying at the campground so we were able to drive to the park and leave our trailer and buggies I'm the big parking lot in the middle of the campground where our friends could see it.... I have no complaints just want people hauling sxs to be aware! would definitely stay again!

When we arrived at the house we were pleasantly impressed by the cleanliness, as well as how cozy it is! Veronica was very responsive and helpful, especially with the directions which were very appreciated! I also loved playing the arcade, and sitting on the deck outside with how peaceful and private the area is. It was also very nice to have a grill there along with the pretty views. We would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you for having us!

House was clean and everything was as described. There were no complications during check in process and Brett responded promptly when I emailed him. Highly recommend!!

Darlene was a wonderful host, cabin was adorable and the restaurant Ruckle’s was delicious and so convenient. Girls loved all the gnomes in the cabin.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing, simple and affordable stay the hilltop cabin is it! Its porch view is lovely and the property is great for a morning walk. It is primitive, so no electric unless you bring a generator but we stayed in early spring when it was still in the 30s at night and were plenty warm with the propane heater in the cabin. Linda was very helpful and responsive. She had fire wood for the campfire waiting for us when we arrived and she even helped me with alternate directions when a train was stuck on the tracks and I couldn’t get back from the store on the normal route. We stayed here so we could hike Pine Island Double Falls and fish Cane Creek. We’re looking forward to going back here during the summer and we’ll be able to take advantage of the cabin’s outdoor shower.

My girlfriends and I were in the area for an event at the Lure Lodge at Lake Cumberland. Not wanting to stay in hotel rooms, we were looking for a reasonably priced cabin with plenty of beds and room to sit and chat. Can't say enough positive about Caleb and his responsiveness during our short one night stay. The drive way and access road would be tricky if in a car but we were in SUV's so not an issue. We would plan to stay here again when back in the area! Thanks for providing all we needed! Mary

Wendy goes above and beyond. Tons of extra touches that showed she really cares. We were in town of a wedding and were super comfortable! The space was perfect for my family of 3.

We have stayed at many of the cabins and condos at Golden Pond resort and this has been our favorite! We loved the peaceful woodsy setting and tucked away location. The little mini guest cabin is so cool…perfect for the members of your party who need extra quiet. The cabin is well built and comfortable. We loved our stay!
