This was our first time at Carolyn's - I make an annual trip to Stowe and a so happy to have found this gem. We hope to come back now year after year! All bedrooms are upstairs - very spacious and the beds are so comfy! You can walk to downtown Stowe in just minutes!

beautiful place right on the river! Lake Champlain and the ferry are a 5-10 minute drive, and you are able to bring your pup with!

We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s house very much. There were 6 of us; my family and my brother’s. The house was very cozy with an open kitchen and living room space with high ceilings. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and many things we didn’t expect like breakfast foods, coffee, etc. The two bathrooms were both spotless and had lots of nice soft towels. The outdoor furniture was very nice and new and the property is private and nicely maintained. A few of us also enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake directly across the street. We were attending a family reunion at a house on the same street so the location was extremely convenient. We liked this house so much we would like to book again for our future reunions.

Genuinely the best place I have stayed in Vermont over the past 6 years. Location is perfect, beautiful views, and Travis was an amazing host. Always helpful and friendly with local recommendations.

My partner and I stayed at the Teeny Tiny cottage for two nights on our ski trip to Jay Peak. First, Eric was extremely responsive, providing details and instructions before our arrival. When we arrived he greeted us and gave us a proper tour and explanation of all the amenities. We felt extremely comfortable and immediately knew we would want to come back again and stay for longer. Yes, it is Teeny Tiny but Perfect for two and has everything you need. Ive stayed in many airbnbs and this has been by far one of my favorites.

This was an incredibly nice stay. Especially cause a lot of our plans got turned around, the view made up for everything I lost in my plans. It was incredibly relaxing and cozy and any problems or confusions were resolved immediately because of how responsive she was. Incredible hosting and I would love to come back some time.

This place is peaceful, beautiful, a gem. I loved hearing the water from the sundeck (porch with windows): looking and hearing the water, feeling so close was a balm and beauty. For those seeking rustic beauty, you cannot do better. The home is well set-up: cozy, stocked, inviting. The sky is full of stars, the tide comes in and out, the woods are just there. David's local recommendations were also outstanding, making us feel like visitors welcomed personally. We followed several of his suggestions at an easy pace: and so soaked in the quaint Brooklyn, WoodenBoatSchool, and gem-of-a-library. It was autumn with some rain, some cool, great beauty always. In other weather we might have done a campfire or bbq. Lovely seats outside. There were more places to sleep than we imagined there might be: it was just my teen son and I, so we didn't even go to the loft. This is a cozy cabin on the sea, with exceptional grounds and a good soul for host!

Great place to stay with a group. Every bedroom had a full bath and kitchen was large. Because we were off season rate was good.

Perfect location for a quiet and peaceful anniversary getaway with spectacular views! Barb was a great host with fantastic restaurant recommendations as well as recommendations for things to do in the area.
