Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at sheerwater. Lots of internal living areas and large bedrooms with comfortable beds. A short walk to a wonderful creek inlet. Highly recommend house and especially good for families with children. Host was extremely friendly and helpful

Excelllent Airbnb with everything you could need and a great location

Enjoyable residence and great for large families. Great location if your planning trips to MovieWorld & Seaworld like we did. Also quick drive down to beach & local Broadwater Restaurants. Nothing really in walking distance, so be prepared to drive. Hosts were great & responsive, however there is a rental property at the front of the house that appeared tenanted while we were there, that wasn't explained, so took us a couple of days to work that someone was on the property with us. Overall, good stay with the family in lovely house.

Amazing stay. Walked into music playing and lit candles on a rainy day 😊. House came with everything you need for a short stay. Beautifully styled and relaxed/ homely feel. Thanks for a great stay. Will definitely return!!

Thanks to Rick for an amazing stay! His property was stunning with plenty to do and explore and beautiful 360 degree country/ farm views. A very tranquil and relaxing environment that I cant recommend enough. Also, the amentities were clean and the shower had truly amazing water pressure (its the small things). I will be back! Highly recommend.

My cousin and I happened to arrive in Queensland right at the start of cyclone Alfred. Not only was the flat incredibly comfortable and clean, but we felt very safe and protected. It's close to multiple grocery stores so stocking up on supplies was fairly easy. On top of everything, Caroline was an extremely responsive and accommodating host. She let us park our rental car in the garage and made her guest room upstairs ready in case we dealt with any flooding. She came downstairs to talk with us after we messaged her about borrowing her phone. She was very helpful and mindful about us staying safe and was ready to help and answer any questions while still respecting our privacy.

We had such a fun time! The property is walking distance from the beach. Deb and Doug gave some excellent recommendations! It was so nice to be able to take our dog with us!

We stayed at Anchor on the Bowsprit for 5 delightful nights. The location of the first floor apartment is perfect - overlooking the canal, surrounded by floral & fauna. The apartment is very well presented and spotlessly clean. It was incredibly well-equipped - especially the kitchen. Bedrooms were of hotel quality and the beds were very comfortable. Karen was very warm and welcoming and responded to any emails very quickly. We would have no hesitation in staying again - or recommending Anchor on the Bowsprit to friends & family.
