Set on the grounds of Murchison Motorhome Park is this Queen bed cabin suitable for one or two adults only (no pets, children, or Additional guests). Guests will have access to the kitchen and bathrooms in the main building which includes a log fire and hot showers and coined operated laundry. If joining us in summer, you will love our walking track and outside garden area with access to some of the best river swimming spots in the area. Bring your own breakfast. LATEST check-in time is 8pm.

Nine Mile Beach Cottage

Kick back and relax in this private, peaceful space. Nine Mile Beach is a short stroll across the garden, with your own easy beach access. Sometimes you may be the only person on the beach. A very calming place to be. Tuis, bellbirds, fantails, wax eyes, wekas, hawks and seabirds all here. Walking, cycling, kayaking and horse riding are all possible. Punakaiki (Pancake Rocks), Paparoa National Park, Caving, Denniston plateau, Constant Bay, Truman Track, and a Seal Colony are all close.

Te Whare o Kea is a non profit social enterprise and supports Kea and kiwi Conservation. It provides simple shelter for trampers, bikers and other nature lovers. Spectacular sunrises and night skies also make it the perfect location for a retreat. Since opening in 2020, Te Whare o Kea is a Gold Kea Sponsor, donating over $20,000 towards the Kea Conservation Trust, supporting the monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and a 17 trap trapline and trail camera.
