Wonderful country house in a very quiet village relatively close to the local vineyards. The house was very comfortable with all that we required. There’s a train line at the back of the property, but trains ran very infrequently and didn’t bother us during our stay. Would stay there again.

The house was cozy, comfortable and spotless. The property is quiet and I would have enjoyed exploring the woods had it not been raining. This will definitely be on our list of favorites for Scottsville's Airbnb's.

The Vinca House was great! Definitely a top tier property and I highly recommend this beautiful house to anyone staying in the area. Joan was a great host and made it very enjoyable for our time visiting Farmville. When you stay at the Vinca House, plan to have everything you need with no corners cut for guests. We really felt at home with our stay!

The has been the best experience I’ve had thus far since I’ve been using Airbnb. Carolynn was very responsive, fresh baked cookies, stocked fridge & snacks. Hot chocolate, coffee & tea just to name a few. Popcorn. Extra linens. We were a bit late checking out & she was very much flexible with us. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK… it was by far the most peaceful, unplugged experience. I loved the fact there wasn’t any wifi. My only take away would be maybe a grill or fire pit & most definitely curtains. Although the property is secluded, the big window to the living room & the patio door didn’t have any privacy… but we made due. With all that said, I would give this 10 stars if I could. My favorite take away was the remote operated fire place. THANK YOU CAROLYNN FOR MAKING THIS EXPERIENCE A GREAT ONE!! My family thanks you. 🙏🏾

Majestic location and great place to unplug from distractions and unwind. Peaceful and relaxing amenities, lots of interesting health, spiritual, fitness literature available in this space. The stars were sooooo visible and beautiful. Great sunrise & sunset, cool seeing the lit train go by at night. It is very windy atop this hill, with a great view of the river below. There is also a way down to the riverbed at the base of the driveway, maybe a quarter mile further down. The pictures haven’t been updated since new bed spreads & some rearrangements. There was tea kettle with lots of tea options, spices and seasonings available, meditation room, and the waterfall/jet shower was amazing. Very available and communicative host. Good wifi. There are meditation retreat/activities locally, that we wish to explore on our next trip here. Thank you and enjoy!!

Had an amazing stay at Bella Vista! Wanted a space to rest and relax and got exactly that. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the house was super cozy. Thank you guys so much for a fantastic trip!!
