The stay was excellent. I wanted a place away from the city and traffic, and Pam's working farm was the perfect retreat. There's plenty of space to wander around and enjoy nature, including the animals, the trees and the river. Scottsville is not Charlottesville, and there are limited options in terms of restaurants, things to do, etc. But if you want some peace and quiet, friendly owners, and welcoming dogs, check out Belle Meade Farm!

Excellent place to stay. We wanted to get away for the weekend and was just what we were looking for. The Winery is a quick walk down the hill. The location is quiet and easy to find. We travelled into town a few times which was fairly close. The bakery is very good and the coffee shop was fine too. The cottage had everything we needed or could want.

Wonderful country house in a very quiet village relatively close to the local vineyards. The house was very comfortable with all that we required. There’s a train line at the back of the property, but trains ran very infrequently and didn’t bother us during our stay. Would stay there again.

Wonderful time staying in the carriage house. Definitely a good choice for an extended stay. You can interact with other guests if you like at the main house especially at breakfast. There are extensive garden areas and lots of nooks to sit at. Enjoyed our time immensely in the area. Many state parks and historical sites to see.

Had an amazing stay at Bella Vista! Wanted a space to rest and relax and got exactly that. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the house was super cozy. Thank you guys so much for a fantastic trip!!

There's so much to say about our stay at HeartRock! You instantly feel at peace when you arrive, and can feel how much love has been poured into this space. Everything about HearRock makes you feel relaxed and ready to connect with your loved ones. We stayed here for a friend's weekend and immediately felt at home. The kitchen is perfect for sharing meaningful meals, the porch is cozy for hanging out, and the grounds are beautiful to explore. We cannot say enough positive things about HeartRock - it is truly a gem and we cannot wait to return.

What a beautiful getaway. After the rough past few months my family wanted to have a short getaway to disconnect and this was the perfect place to do so. We did puzzles, read, went on walks, and enjoyed going to the downtown area in Scottsville. Would gladly find any reason to come back! Very easy and helpful check in process (Tom was wonderful) and we felt right at home. Neighbors were lovely and our dogs felt right at home. The beds were also extremely comfortable. Thank you for creating such a comfortable space and sharing it.

Always an amazing time at Seven Springs! The highlight for us is always the wildlife. This trip walking the trails we saw Eastern newts, eastern box turtles, whitetail deer, turkey, hawks, a variety of songbirds, and a young bobcat. While completely private and having expansive land to explore, you are only a few minutes from tasty dining and 2-0-30 minutes from Hampden Sydney. We highly recommend the stay!
