I had a wonderful stay at Petit Charlie! Jade was a friendly, available, and incredibly helpful host who made sure everything went smoothly. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was seamless, and Jade even arranged transport, which made things so much easier. I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning!

Le Balcon est vraiment super et offre une super vue sur le quartier. Quartier sympa avec tous les commerces à proximité (coiffeur, salle de sport, restaurant) et Senegambia à 5 minutes en taxi. Les hôtes ainsi que le personnel de l’immeuble sont très professionnels et agréables. Ils sont sympathiques. Je vais revenir très vite, c’est sûr.

We had an absolutely amazing two-week stay at Madam York’s apartment. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service. • Accommodation (Room comfort, cleanliness, amenities) • Service (Staff friendliness, attentiveness, efficiency) • Activities ( beautiful pool friendly for kids). Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a breathtaking view. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, always greeting us with a smile. A special thank you to (Modou) for always helping us with anything we needed. Overall, our stay was perfect, and we can’t wait to return. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway!

We loved Antonia’s appt. It was spotlessly clean, had lots of storage space, a well equipped kitchen, modern decor and it even had a lovely, fresh fragrance as you walk in. I could definitely tell the appt. is hosted by a woman - full length mirrors, a decent hairdryer, and coat hangers that are actually suitable for dresses and strappy tops. It’s rare to get these simple things! Every single member of concierge, pool, grounds and cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - a very short walk to a lovely, quiet beach with sunbeds, umbrellas and a great bar and restaurant. Lots of other restaurants and bars are within a minutes walk but the appt. is tucked just enough away so you’re still very quiet and private. The pool and outside aesthetic is extremely nice - the appt’s terrace also gets the late afternoon sun which is lovely for when you get back from the beach/want a drink before heading out for the evening. We would definitely stay here again!

Lo que digamos en esta nota se queda corto para describir nuestra experiencia en Gambia y en Tedugal guest house. Ha sido increíble y para nosotros ha resultado un gran descubrimiento ya que no sabíamos casi nada de Gambia. Es un país totalmente recomendable, bonito y con una gente realmente excepcional. En Tedugal nos hemos sentido en todo momento como en casa. Todo ha estado genial, es un sitio tranquilo en el que uno puede descansar y convivir con gente de Gambia. Nosotros teníamos reservada la planta superior y de verdad que era como estar en casa porque teníamos nuestro propio lavabo, nuestra cocina y nuestro salón y todo en perfectas condiciones y si había algún problema lo resolvían al momento. Ademas todo el staff es encantador: Bala el director nos ha atendido en todo momento. Aminata, Sainabou, Rooiyyah y Fatou se encargaban de la cocina y la limpieza y tenemos que decir que son cocineras excepcionales. Yussuf y Pa, trabajadores de Tedugal, siempre amables con nosotros. Y finalmente Edu y Bakary, nuestros compañeros y amigos de viaje, que han estado en todo momento con nosotros y cuidándonos para que estuviésemos lo mejor posible. Estamos enormemente agradecidos a todo el staff de Tedugal por haber hecho que nuestra estancia en Gambia haya sido inolvidable y desde aquí les mandamos un saludo con afecto a todos. What we say in this note falls short to describe our experience in Gambia and in Tedugal guest house. It has been incredible and for us it has been a great discovery since we knew almost nothing of Gambia. It is a totally recommendable country, beautiful and with a really exceptional people. At Tedugal we have felt at home all time. Everything has been great, it is a quiet place where one can rest and live with people from Gambia. We had booked the top floor and really it was like being at home because we had our own bath, our kitchen and our living room and everything in perfect conditions and if there was any problem they would solve it at the moment. Besides all the staff is lovely: Bala the manager has attended us at all time. Aminata, Sainabou, Rooiyyah and Fatou were in charge of the kitchen and the cleaning and we have to say that they are exceptional cooks. Yussuf and Pa, workers of Tedugal, always kind to us. And finally Edu and Bakary, our traveling companions and friends, who have been at all times with us and taking care of us to make it our best. We are extremely grateful to all the staff at Tedugal for making our stay in Gambia unforgettable and from here we send a greeting with affection to everyone.

Absolutely was a house warming trip. The Gambia is home, and having a nice cozy place to stay had me feeling absolutely perfect! Couldn’t ask for anymore, always helpful and highly responsive! The spot was exactly what I needed and beautiful. Thank you for hosting my significant other and I! Greatly appreciate!

This place is just amazing. Such a beautiful retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. The sounds of the ocean and birds help send you into a state of calm and happiness. The house if full of wonderful curiosities, the veranda offers a beach view on one side and a more 'tropical' vibe of birds and cicadas on the other; with the sound of the ocean in the background. Just a 2 minute walk through the grounds to the beach, and this itself is peaceful and generally free of sellers. Emilie has an established property which locals appear to respect so you don't get hassle. The meals there were delicious but for choice there are a couple of restaurants within 10 min walk along the beach; all serving lovely Gambian dishes as well as your normal pizza, chips etc. All food is caught, picked on the same day so as fresh as can be. The array of fishing boats on the beach is a sight not to miss and the sunsets are beautiful. This is quite possibly the best beach front accommodation in the country!

Super fijn en ruim opgezet appartement in een rustige wijk. Alegi en zijn familie staan de gehele periode voor je klaar. Als je iets tekort komt wordt het direct geregeld. Ze hebben zelfs 2 fietsen die we mochten gebruiken. Kortom een fijne plek te verblijven, ik kom zeker weer terug!

Wir haben eine Woche im Apartment von Ahmed und Safia übernachtet. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Apartment war sehr sauber, die Eigentümer freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Lage war super. Habe mich auch sicher gefühlt. Lage ist gut zu erreichen und nah am Meer. Nächstes Mal wieder gerne.
