Fernances Creek Farm is one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Wollombi Valley. Ten minutes from Laguna with the Watagan Mountains and Yengo National Park on our doorstep. The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

Located in Wollombi Valley, part of the Hunter Wine Region. The Dairy Cottage is a newly renovated 2-bedroom cottage nestled in trees and surrounded by gardens. Delight in the natural beauty and tranquil rural experience of our 24 acre wine country farm. Far horizons, incredible stars, play space aplenty. With open plan living spaces, fully equipped kitchen and wood fire, the house is fantastic for a special time away with family or friends. All rooms have views across fields, vineyards and mountains, with the huge covered verandah providing the best vantage point only occasionally obstructed by wandering kangaroos, wombats, foxes, and the local cows.

Murray cottage

Murray is a two-bedroom cottage with two queen beds. It has beautiful views of neighbouring vineyards, and is quiet and peaceful. For weekend bookings, a minimum of two guests is required. The cottage is five minutes drive from Hunter Valley galleries and major wineries and restaurants, and less than two hours from Sydney. The cottage is kept meticulously clean by our long-term housekeeper, who uses alcohol-based cleaning agents. Generous, reduced rates are available for week-long stays.
