Buffalo Range, a "destination" Airbnb, is a working ranch nine miles south of Monument, Kansas. The surrounding open prairie has never felt a plow; horses and cattle occupy the pastures most of the year; native grasses, wildflowers, cacti, and succulents surround the homestead. We say we are "half way to everywhere in the middle of nowhere" because we're central to an amazing number of historic, geologic, recreational, photographic, and hunting sites. It has a very comfortable living room, a bedroom with a queen bed and large closet, a nice little updated kitchen, and a full bathroom on the main floor. A 2nd bedroom with 2 full size beds and a washer/dryer are on the lower level. This home is only one block away from Main Street shopping, coffee, dining, a movie theatre, and a world-class Motorcycle museum.

1886 Loft Book entire space

This unique loft has a style all of its own. Built in 1886, the loft was an apartment back in the day and has been vacant since the 50's. It has been completely renovated and restored in 2023. Saving all the original doors and trim, modern updates were made throughout. Located in the heart of downtown Oakley, it is an excellent choice to base out of and explore northwest Kansas. Downstairs space often has pop up food vendors as an added benefit.

The Cabin

The Cabin is located in the small, rural town of Brewster, just off Interstate 70 between Colby and Goodland. It is furnished with a double bed and futon on the lower level and a twin bed in the loft. The loft is accessible via a pull-down ladder. A mini-fridge, Keurig, and microwave available. No wifi or TV, a playground nearby, three blocks from a small grocery store that serves meals, but the days and times vary with the seasons.
