Terlingua Belle & Private Bath, 15 mins to BBNP

Terlingua Belle is a furnished 13 foot glamping tent with heat, air conditioning and a private bathhouse located just minutes from the Ghosttown. The tent is set up on a private "nook" on the property - no other tents or tipis on the property! Comfortable outdoor seating makes for an amazing view of the night sky as well as beautiful sunrises. Lighted pathways lead from the parking area to the tent and from the tent to the bathhouse. Belle is located about 1 mile off the highway on a dirt road.

Camp Eldorado

This campsite is centrally located, and just a short drive to Big Bend National Park, Big Bend State Park, Terlingua Ghost Town, Alpine and Marfa.

Living Rock Campsite #1

Our campsite is located on the hill behind Terlingua Ghost Town, 1/2 mile from Restaurants and shopping. Campfires are allowed. We have a composting toilet on the campground and an outdoor shower available. The view from your campsite is a 360 degree panoramic view of the Big Bend region complete with a sunrise over the Chisos and a sunset in the Chihuahuan desert of Mexico. The road to the campsite is unpaved. Take it slowly, any car will make it. One tent per site, please. Tent not included.

Campsite in Terlingua

The Vega offers more than just a campsite for you to pitch your tent. Be ready to enjoy breathtaking sunsets with 360 views of surrounding mountains. Locations is a short 25 min drive to Big Bend National Park and 30 mins south of Alpine. 5 mins from camp you can find the local burro store where you can grab some groceries, water, alcohol and other necessities. 10 mins from camp you can find Terlingua Ranch Lodge where you can shower for $2, do some laundry and they even have a pool for a fee.

Primitive Desert Camping 25 min from Big Bend #3

Primitive off-grid camping on 40 private acres near Big Bend. Pitch a tent, unplug, and enjoy wide-open desert and incredible night skies. 3 recommended camping areas ( but you can camp anywhere), each with a fire pit and hammock structure. Camp Leapin’ Lizard

A great location, 8 miles to BBNP; 12 to BBRSP, with a Chisos Mt. view, wifi, a picnic table, cook table, Coleman stove, tabletop grill, 2 Adirondack chairs, fire pit, rechargeable lantern, a sink for easy clean-ups, basic dishes and utensils for two, & shade from a large patio umbrella. Campers access a private outdoor shower and camp toilet nearby. Bring your own sleep system/bedding; whatever you prefer. Two things aren’t allowed; queen mattresses over 12” thick, and cots.

Rent the whole back of the property! Marshmallow Retreat – Stargazer & Lotus Tent .We can host up to 8 guests. Two Luxury Tents ,each feature queen beds, sofa beds, and twin floor mattresses, plus a mini fridge, propane heater for cold nights, swamp cooler for hot days, outdoor kitchen, On demand hot-shower , private bathrooms, hand/dishwashing station, hammock, and fire pit. ( Each tent has its own private amenities , nothing it’s shared ) perfect for families or groups.

Private camping getaway near Big Bend

Come unwind your knotty soul in this spacious safari tent just 10 minutes from Big Bend National Park. This listing is a chance for smaller groups to book a single tent at our most private group site. If booked, the other tent is automatically blocked from booking, so you will have the entire site to yourself, including the stocked kitchen tent. If you decide to add more folks to your group, the other tent with a single queen bed can be booked any time!

Top of the hill campsite overlooking Big Bend

Our launch pad is located directly on Hwy-118 just 10 minutes away from Big Bend National Park and 15 minutes away from the ghost town. We have outdoor and indoor toilets and hot showers. We will provide you with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Please remember that water in the desert is very scarce, please limit your showers to 5 minutes. Attention, a 5 minute walk uphill requieres to reach your site and you must bring your own tent!

Site #4 Vista De Las Montañas

Conveniently located fifteen miles from the entrance of Big Bend National Park. Less than one mile off hwy 118 on an all-weather, easy access road, with designated parking for each site. Shade sail, tent pad, fire ring, picnic table, outhouse, trash cans, wifi, and charging station provided. One mile from the Lazy Bear Saloon which serves beer, wine, food, and party favors. Mountain views and dark skies await you at this beautiful location.

Sheltered #3 camping in the Terlingua Ghost Town

We constructed this shelter to protect guests from bitter cold North winds and shade for the summer heat. The shelter is large enough for a tent, or use it for a kitchen dining area, or both if you have a small tent. We have 2 other campsites, an RV spot, an Airstream Argosy trailer, a Ruin and an Eco house as well. Please no paper down any of the toilets on the compound (there are bidets in both full bathrooms to use).
