We had a wonderful stay at Akwa house. There are plenty of spaces for the kids to relax and have fun while the adults could sit in the lounge overlooking the beautiful views. We loved the quiet location and family-friendly feel of the street. The kitchen was well stocked and we slept very comfortably in all the rooms. I would definitely recommend Akwa house to anyone looking for a great home right close to the beach.

Lovely home on the Breede, great position and wonderful deck and braai area. Everything you need and the use of the SUPs and canoe is a bonus!

This is a really lovely place - so close to the sea and such a beautiful location. Marienne was very kind and efficient and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Wow, what a place - extremely peaceful, extremely beautiful, perfect for seven of us. They even provided clean drinking water for all of us since the water from the taps wasn’t drinkable. The canoes were also a great bonus. Like others said before, the prepared hot tub was pretty hot when we got in but it was still fun, we just topped it up with some cold water from the hose if it got too hot. All in all, a really wonderful stay!

Murray's place was absolutely perfect. Check in was a breeze. The house is spotless and even better than the pictures. The kitchen has everything you can think of and we loved making our own pizzas in the pizza oven outside. It is literally down the road from the most beautiful tidal pool and beach.

As a group of 8 plus one dog, the house was the perfect peaceful getaway we all needed! There are so many cool and unique corners of the house to explore and hideaway when a good book is calling. Alternatively, there are so many fun games and activities to play when the group is ready to come together! On a rainy weekend, all the fireplaces and braai lend towards cozy evenings, while the pool and river await when the sun peaks out! Thank you for making this an unforgettable weekend for us all! One of our best Airbnb stays in recent history! We love Hermanus and visit regularly. Disa cottage is beautiful cosy cottage surrounded by a beautiful lush garden. The cottage had everything it said it and and more. Toinette was proactive and responseive with communication. Loki the cat was the cutest host! We had an awesome stay! We will definitely be back!

Philip was such a gratious host! We felt right at home end relaxed, because this house has everything. We didn't want for anything. Philip even lent us canoes, life jackets for the kids, etc to enjoy some water sport in the lagoon. The kids played outside for hours! We'll definitely be coming back. We would definitely stay here again! The location among the vineyard was really quiet and nice. The cottages are situated close to each other but still private. Each bedroom had an en suite bathroom with a rain shower and lots of space. The furniture and beds were comfy and cozy. The braai areas were great and the wood fired hot tub was such a treat. Shout out to Lourens for the wine, he’s clearly a talented winemaker with an excellent sense of the craft and has a bright future as a representative of South Africa’s wine scene on the international stage. Lizelle was a great host and was tolerant of all my questions. The entire territory was quaint and there were two hiking trails and even a canoe and SUP by the river. Book here. You won’t regret it.

The most perfect location with serene views and peaceful surroundings. Everything you need is right there, a small river flowing past the house to swim in, beautiful and easy walks through the vineyard and the best of all a hot tub anytime you want it! The cottage is cute, clean and many amenities available to use. Will definitely be back at this location.

Very friendly homestay with amazing views. Peaceful and quiet with a lovely big yard. It is surrounded by a picturesque countryside with beautiful views across the valley.Location was beautiful and there was lots to do nearby. We were able to contact Amelia and Jacques easily and they were very helpful; from restaurant & activity recommendations to use of the cottage amenities. We had plenty of room for two adults; two kids & two infants. Just what we need to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life.A very beautiful & spacious cabin; we will certainly be going back as there is so much more activities and wine farms we left without visiting.

We loved our stay at Montevue. The place feels very remote and as though you have the farm to yourself. We enjoyed walks around on some of the trails and then did a couple of pit stops in Montagu as well. Wood fired hot tub is a treat and the sunsets and stargazing are amazing (at least when it’s not cloudy). Definitely an incredible experience.

We loved the stay at the 'green' cottage. Lea was super friendly and helpful with checkin and any advise on activities to do around the area. Our 2 year old was in heaven listening to the lions roaring from the neighbour's animal sanctuary, after dark. Lea kindly allowed us to drive through their farm to view the Zebra and Eiland, 4x4 probably recommended. The cottage was clean and kitted out for our short stay. A braai under the closed verandah made a rainy night magical. we hope to be back.

A friend and I needed a few days to get away and relax. This was the perfect place for us. Quiet and serene. We enjoyed walking a bit and the swimming pool was so nice on a hot day. The house and kitchen are well set up and the lounge furniture is very comfortable. Great care has been taken to make sure that guests are very comfortable!
