Access to the reserve is gained by entering and passing through the orchards on Le Domaine farm. The reserve itself is nestled next to the CBR dam, with the ideal opportunity to do silent watersport, like canoeing. For keen birdwatchers this is paradise...watching fish eagles will be the highlight. @Maggie promises a peaceful, tranquil stay.

A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. Walking distance from Baardskeerdersbos. 18km from Pearly Beach and 22km from Gansbaai coastal area. This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests and has a private woodfire hot tub next to the patio. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate any pets. The working farm has sheep roaming around and also 3 big farm dogs.

To make your stay extra comfortable we supply all the luxuries you will need, including towels, swimming towels, good quality linen.

Surrounded by mountains boasting a picturesque garden and farm dam view, New Beginnings Cottage is situated on Toddle Inn Farm, 21kms (10kms on gravel) outside the historic town of Montagu in the Western Cape. It is private and mostly quiet and peaceful, however, it is situated in a working farm area. It is pet friendly by arrangement and is mostly fenced off but is open to the farm dam at the bottom so is not 100% foolproof.
