Take a stroll to the river, or up the driveway to see the animals. Enjoy your coffee at the fire ring while you take in the mountain views or sit inside. There is a kitchen area, with basic dishes and pans for cooking, with a stove inside that converts to a heater and a small sink. The 1/2 bath is the outhouse located near by.

The Loft is located on the second floor of historic Lawyers Row, circa 1840, in the heart of Centertown Bedford and close to the National D-Day Memorial, Poplar Forest, Smith Mountain Lake, The Peaks of Otter and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We think you’ll love the close proximity to Centertown's local shops and restaurants, and be impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into renovating our vintage building. Little Gallery House Near Natural Bridge

The Little Gallery House, near Natural Bridge, is part of an old Civilian Conservation Corps Camp, then juvenile detention center, now a campground and artist community, called Thunder BRidge. There are 100 acres to explore, bordering the Jefferson National Forest, with hiking trails and just 2 miles from the James River. This would be an ideal place for family to meet if some of you want to camp and others would like a real house. There is a queen bed and a day bed.

Otterview Mountain House

Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, a huge deck, and a pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top-of-the-line kitchen, cozy living room, and an extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the fire pit, and relax on the dock. There are two miles of trails on the 37-acre property with their own trail signs and map.

Public access to Craig's creek about 5 minutes from this location.
