Approached via a two kilometre private road - this is as secluded a place as you can find. You will cancel your plans and not want to leave the house. The landscape is magnificent as are the views in all directions. Two small lakes are home to a variety of birds including a pair of eagles who visit in late summer and throughout winter.

The house stands by the shore and includes a private hot tub (renewed in june 2021) where you can enjoy the ocean and mountain view. It is away from farms in the area so you can enjoy some peace and quiet of Icelandic nature. It's 30 km west of Borgarnes. The location is perfect if you are traveling to Snæfellsnes peninsula. Our location is ideal for observing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) as they can be seen from October through March. There are no nearby lights.

You can see the northern light from the top and have the breakfast with an amazing view but there are no cooking facility. It is a horse farm and you can see horses from the top floor and a hot spring in the middle of the river.
