The house had plenty of room for my family of 10. We truly appreciated all of the extra things to do at the house. The pool table/ping pong table was a hit for the young adults. The fact that they had enough kayaks that the young adults could go out in a group was a huge plus. The only negative I would say is the amount of lily pads in front of the house didn’t allow for swimming off the dock or fishing. Obviously this is not the fault of the owner so we made the best of it.

My family and I traveled to DeKalb on business and found Sara & Pablo's place to be perfect! The house was roomy and clean. The water pressure and wifi were good. The bedrooms had room darkening shades/curtains that really did the trick. The dining area was spacious and lit beautifully with all of the windows. I also found the work space to be perfect for my needs. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt very safe. The parking was in the driveway. My daughter and I walked quite a but and visited the older downtown area and enjoyed shopping! We recommend eating at French Toast- the food was FABULOUS! If you love to shop unique stores: This & That, Cracker Jax (a must!), Found, Thyme & Again, Found, and for an indie bookstore, Robyn's Nest. For a great dessert try Insomnia Cookies. If we are in the area again, I will definitely try to stay with Sara & Pablo again! I highly recommend their place!

Alex is a great host! Dog friendly places are hard to find and his place made my dog feel super comfortable. Love this place and definitely will be back.

Awesome location, easy to get to and quiet family neighborhood.

I stayed at Sharron’s house for two months and felt right at home. The house was spacious with a nice backyard. It was very cozy and had many amenities available to allow for an easy stay. The neighborhood was quiet and nice, with a large park nearby. Sharron was very responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay at Sharron’s house again if I returned to the area.

Theresa's place was great. We booked it for a weekend getaway, to visit Starved Rock park. The hose had soooo many things to do. It had so many activities that you would need more than a week to try them all. It was a great place to stay. The kids were entertained all day, which let us adults relax and enjoy the amenities.

We enjoyed staying at Nicole’s house in Geneva Illinois. It was clean, comfortable, and pet friendly. Nicole was very responsive when we had a couple questions and always friendly. The house is very spacious and all 4 bedrooms have plenty of room. The backyard is very nice. It’s about a 1-mile walk to downtown Geneva or an easy drive. We didn’t use the 2nd floor since there were only two of us, but if you have a larger group you will have plenty of room. Highly recommend!!

Hosts were very responsive to issues that arose and compensated (of their own accord, I didn’t ask) for the inconvenience that occurred. An inconvenience out of their control. Nice people, answered my 101 questions, as it was my very first Air bnb experience. My only thing was that it was not advertised that there were stairs and all beds and the only bath were upstairs. My son is handicapped so it made it very difficult getting him up and down the 16-17 stairs. Otherwise it’s definitely a very cute place! Our animals (more than 1) were allowed, which is kind of a hard thing to find these days in all honesty. I just don’t recommend this particular property of theirs for anyone with a handicap. They do have others! All in all, definitely a great first time experience for my kids and I!

Beautiful views, great layout, and extremely dog friendly with nice touches make this place stand out! Very close to all the state parks in the area, but there’s plenty to do on site as well. Check in was seamless, we had clear instructions throughout, and the place was perfect!

What isn’t to like about this place? Amazing building, incredible views (from the unit I was in), beautiful unit, great amenities, perfect location, friendly staff. I will be staying here whenever I visit Chicago in the future.

This place was incredible. My kids and I loved staying here. My young daughter had asked to stay in a "fancy hotel" on our trip, and this blew her mind with the views over the city, how nice the space was, and the pool and hot tub that we pretty much had to ourselves every evening. The kitchen had the things we needed to make our own meals. And we were within easy reach of every place we wanted to go. The included parking spot really took things over the top to make this a great deal and an amazing stay for our family.

It was a great stay for me and my son and his wife and my two grandsons. The boys loved all the games and us adults really liked the pool table. Didn't get to enjoy the pool while we were there cause it was too early in the season, but all in all a really nice place to relax. It's got everything you need there minus the food of course.Give it a shot you won't be disappointed.

Great house with all the amenities for a wonderful family vacation. Enough room for 10 people to enjoy comfortably. Definitely would recommend!

Nice house with updates. We used all four bedrooms, so everyone had their own space. Kitchen and living room looked nice, but a bit cozy if everyone was in the space at the same time. There was a large breakfast nook/counter in the kitchen instead of a table. More dishes, mugs, etc. in the kitchen would have been nice. The coffee maker and provided K-cups were great! Would definitely stay again if it's available when we are in the area again.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Deirdre’s home! It’s a gorgeous property with lots of charm and space, and so many great amenities (theater room, claw foot bathtub, Sonos speakers, ample parking, etc.). Deirdre was also very responsive throughout the process and even helped us with a more flexible checkout time. Absolutely recommend visiting her home, we’re already wishing for another trip!

This home was super cozy for my big family. Everything was clean, comfortable, and the way it is set up makes you feel right at home. This home had everything we needed. TV’s, kitchen items, recommendations, and even fun family games and activities to do. Every time I visit the area I’ll be checking to see if it’s available. 10/10

Jamie’s place was a perfect spot to stay in Chicago. There is access to the L within a few miles (with parking structure), and there are many walkable places locally. We highly recommend Caesar Pierogis on West Irving (offers gluten free pierogis). The neighborhood is charming and safe for walking. After long days of exploring, we came back to Jamie’s place and enjoyed watching Netflix and relaxing in the living room. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, and there is a grocery store within walking distance. Jamie is a very thoughtful host, and her home is quite accommodating. We had a lovely get away. Thank you, Jamie!

Found an absolute gem on this app ...that being both this listing AND Veronica! When my husband and I first started planning our micro backyard wedding we never thought we'd find a place like hers- secluded but not too isolated, gorgeous, huge backyard, pristine, enough sleeping spaces for all the out of towner, a gorgeous "theme" room to host the reception...and pet friendly so my dog could be the ring bearer! From the very beginning Veronica was just as excited as us to have our wedding there. We asked if we could possibly stop by and peak into the backyard to get an idea of the layout. Instead, she took time out of her Sunday to give us a FULL tour! She even gave me a hug afterward, it was so sweet. Veronica went out of her way to provide tables & chairs and was quick to reply to messages when I had questions day of. She even followed up after to ask for wedding photos! My husband and I said if her place is still available a decade from now we'll have our vow renewals there!!

Very cute tiny home. Had a lot of amenities including full bathroom, refrigerator/freezer, washer/dryer, and oven/stove which I haven’t seen in other tiny homes. Would recommend.

The listing doesn’t do this place justice. It was so very very clean, well appointed including an iron and ironing board which wasnt mentioned in the listing. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Plenty of hot water and more than enough bath towels and wash cloths. Shower gels and shampoos provided. Well appointed kitchen and freezer full of ice. The bed was so comfortable I overslept every morning. Super easy check in and out. I’m going to mention again the cleanliness of the place - on a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 20. I highly recommend this place.

This was our first time staying at an Airbnb and it was a very pleasant experience. Place was very clean and we felt right at home. Steve was very responsive with the questions I had.

The place was lovely—clean, comfortable, and just as described. Tom was very communicative and easy to reach, which made everything smooth and stress-free. One thing to note: there were several air fresheners throughout the house, which created a strong scent. We're a bit more sensitive to smells, so it was something we definitely noticed and found a bit challenging. If you're sensitive to artificial fragrances, it's just something to keep in mind before booking. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Anna and Chris are great host. I am very happy to find her place I definitely recommend. I had great time and I appreciate the patience and guidance as I need a lot.
