Charming Bolthole with Patio, & a Stroll from the Beach

Escape to the beach and explore the delights of the Devonshire south coast. This self-contained bolthole has its own entrance and patio. Bright orange prints lift an otherwise neutral palette with solid wood floors, wooden cladding in the bedroom, and natural upholstery. The Annexe has a well equipped open plan living/kitchen/dining area with combination oven/grill/microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, Dualit kettle, fridge freezer, double electric hob, kitchenware, and utensils. Large, comfortable sofa with SKY television, DVD player, Wii, bluetooth speaker, magazines, books and games. There is a small but stylish bedroom with standard 4'6" double bed chest of drawers and dressing table. The shower room has a large walk-in shower, basin unit, toilet and underfloor heating. Egyptian cotton bed linen, towels and hairdryer are provided. Free wifi and electric heating throughout. There is a small private courtyard for "The Annexe" with table & chairs so you can sit outside and enjoy the morning sunshine. The sofa in living area can be set up as a bed, charged at an extra £10 per night, including bed linen and towels. (please note it is not a "sofa bed" but a large sofa approximately the size of a standard single bed with the back cushions removed) Tea, coffee, milk and sugar are also provided. Guests come up a private driveway to the rear of our house, and in through our back garden gate, and then The Annexe is immeidately to the left. Guests are given access to a key safe in their own private courtyard and have their own separate entrance to The Annexe. There is an allocated private parking space for The Annexe about 20 yards away in a private car park (less than 1-minute walk) and cycle storage if required. "The Annexe" is a completely self-contained detached property but very close to our house, effectively in our garden, so although you are completely separate and left to enjoy your stay in privacy, we are usually not too far away should you have any questions, and are always happy to help if we can! Stoke Fleming is a friendly, peaceful Devon village close to beautiful Blackpool Sands (a short walk down the hill). It has a fantastic pub (The Green Dragon), a popular restaurant (Radius 7), a park, village shop & post office open daily, and a hotel (stoke Lodge) open to non-residents which has both an indoor and outdoor pool. A car is advisable in the South Hams, but there is a regular bus service (no.3) from the village to Dartmouth and along the coast road to Kingsbridge and onwards to Plymouth. The nearest train station is Totnes (approx 20-30 mins by car/taxi) and the fast train is 2 hours 47 mins to London Paddington and 3 hours to Birmingham New Street. There are lots of maps, guide books and visitor information provided. The bedroom of "The Annexe" backs onto our garden so in the warmer months we are likely to be out there in the day enjoying the sunshine (we hope!) or having an evening BBQ but we would try to keep noise to a minimum and would not be out there after 10pm. "The Annexe" is close to the village church (you look out onto it from the bedroom window) and the church bells do chime regularly on the quarter hour, so if you are a very light sleeper this may disturb you, and may not be the property for you. We will accept very well-behaved dogs but they are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedroom. They cannot be left unattended in "The Annexe" at any time. Stoke Fleming is a friendly, peaceful Devon village close to beautiful Blackpool Sands (a short walk down the hill). It has a fantastic pub (The Green Dragon), a popular, highly regarded bar & restaurant (Radius 7), a park, well stocked village shop & post office open daily, and a family run hotel (Stoke Lodge) open to non-residents which has both an indoor and outdoor pool.

Admiral's Quarters - Stunning river and sea views

The Admiral’s Quarters is a private garden apartment with stunning river & sea views, only a short, two-minute walk from the heart of Dartmouth. The accommodation comprises a double bedroom with French doors opening to your own outdoor area. The first floor features the bathroom, an open plan stylish living area with a fully equipped kitchen. There is a built-in cabin-style full-size single bed for little sailors or adults. Parking permit supplied for the main town car park in Mayors Avenue.

Lovely cosy cottage with river views

Long weekend / weekly stays. Self-catered, stylish terraced cottage with 2 decking areas with stunning unimpeded river views. 2 bedrooms with either 2 x king-size or 1 x king-size and twin room, along with desk and superfast WIFI. Shower room with underfloor heating, kitchen/diner & sitting room with wood-burner. Great place to explore the surrounding areas including Dartmouth, beaches, and the countryside. 2 x National Trust properties & Steam Railway nearby.. Bookings for a min of 2 nights.

The best view in Dartmouth

Court Farm, Kingsbridge. Hot tub and wood burner

Partridge Nest, situated in an old farmhouse, surrounded by its own fields & woodland. This cosy and quiet, idyllic countryside retreat is perfect for a romantic break for two all year round. Imagine relaxing on the patio, or lounging in the wood fired hot tub overlooking our beautiful fields and gazing up at the stars. Coastal home, walk to beach/pub, dog welcome

East Farwell is the wing of our Georgian Rectory, renovated 6 years ago and updated to provide a contemporary modern home, with huge glass doors opening onto the terrace overlooking the gardens of the main house. A perfect base for one or two couples, or small family (+ dog) to escape at any time of year. On the South Devon Coast path (Salt Path), you can walk to Blackpool Sands, stroll to the pub or local brasserie, 5 minute drive or catch the bus into historic Dartmouth.

Beautiful boutique apartment, sleeps 4 courtyard

The courtyard is a unique beautifully decorated, boutique style two bedroom apartment where your total comfort has been thought of throughout. Perfectly situated in the Devon village of Stoke Fleming within the South Hams an area of outstanding natural beauty, sea views from the two balconies off the upstairs lounge. Private courtyard garden. 2 parking spaces, wifi and Award winning beach Blackpool Sands is a 15 minute walk away. Historic Dartmouth 3 miles away.

Hidden gem for two in Beeson

Rose Byre is a stunning, recently refurbished barn conversion, set in a pretty walled courtyard with private parking. Ideal for exploring this outstanding area of South Devon. Beesands with its renowned pub & fish restaurant and the coastal path are less than a mile away. The barn is situated approx. 6 miles from Kingsbridge and 8 miles from Dartmouth. Salcombe is easily reached by foot ferry from East Portlemouth 5 miles away.

Little Well, Slapton (2 acres, dogs welcome).

Little Well is a charming cosy lodge in an idyllic and peaceful setting 2 miles from Slapton. With distant views of the sea and surrounded by beautiful South Hams countryside, it's a great location for a family holiday or a relaxing getaway and dogs are welcomed too. Slapton is a pretty village with ancient narrow streets leading down to the sea and is only a 20min drive to Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Totnes.
