Great place, great staff and great value. Easy going, yet efficient. Felt safe for both our car parked outside and ourselves inside. Breakfast was a bonus. Will definitely be staying again when in the City and will be recommending to friends.

The house was beautiful, safe neighborhood, comfortable beds. Cadine was very nice and flexible with our checkout time, we will definitely be back in future visits to town. Thank you Cadine!

This is a very private location and great to just relax. We loved cabin 1 with the view of the water. We spent a good amount of time relaxing in the hammocks on the dock. Being that there are no stores or restaurants, we took advantage of Emily’s cooking and it was great! Eugene took us on a very adventurous snorkel trip and was a great captain to/from Belize City. Omar was such a kind and polite help with everything. Notes for future travelers: There is a full kitchen and plenty of drinking water. You can haul groceries in and cook but we definitely recommend Emily’s meals. Bug repellent is a must. We definitely recommend a couple of days on this caye if you are looking for a slow paced location.

Great place to stay for a short period of time while in Belize city. I felt extremely safe with the amount of security that was in and around the home. Very clean and comfortable

I booked the Great House for a one night stay in Belize City given my plans outside the city. It wasn’t too far from the airport, and the house had a cute swing and sea view from the second floor. There was construction going on across the building, but thankfully it didn’t make any noise in the night. The concierge was so kind. The room was bigger than I thought, clean, and the AC was so great to have. Would I do another 1 night stay there? Definitely.

We loved our honeymoon at the Therapy cabins! Although there is the option to have Eugene take you on adventures, or to nearby areas for tours, we took the opportunity to slow down, relax and read books in the hammocks on the dock for a few days (with some kayaking around the island). The cabin was spotlessly clean and the mini split AC unit in the bedroom could get it impressively cool at night. Emily’s cooking was phenomenal and would absolutely recommend doing this, we did only breakfasts and dinners and could hardly finish the leftovers for lunch. It was so amazing the level of luxury on this off the grid island! The therapy dogs Bella and Bruno were an added bonus for these dog lovers, they helped us spot dolphins on multiple occasions. We absolutely recommend and hope to come back!

We started our trip in Belize at Howler House and it was the best decision. The house was so unique and right on the banks of the river. We spent every night on the deck in the hammock and chairs taking in the surrounding nature. My kids loved the new pool - and spent a few hours there playing. The biggest highlight was the wildlife. There is a small crocodile in the tiny lagoon near the cabins. We ironically named him ‘Big Al’. We also saw a family of howler monkeys right outside our place - swinging from the trees right off our deck. We stayed in the older blue cabin (there are now newer options). And while it wasn’t the fanciest - it met all our needs and felt so different. A huge thanks to Shanna for being a great host. For those who love adventure I cannot recommend Howler House enough!
