The house was perfect for a lovely relaxing week away with a young family. The fully fenced backyard overlooking the reserve was a perfect backdrop to enjoy the peace and quiet of Scamander. We walked to the river each day, played on the large open space outside the back fence. The fireplace was a nice change of pace. Thanks for having us

I would give six stars (if I could) for our stay at Jan's place. It is a nicely updated and well furnished house perched on a hill that affords a scenic view of Binalong bay. We found the unit to be very clean and well provisioned for a five day stay. From the house, a five minute walk will get you to Binalong Beach where one can swim in tranlucent turquois water and walk along long white sand beach. Ten minute drive from the house will get you to downtown St. Helenes where great coffeeshops and restaurants abounds. We ate at many of these eateries and all were good to excellent. A bit longer scenic drive , may be 20 min from the house, will get you to a beautiful and friendly winery where one can sample seven different types of high qauality wines at 15 AUD per person. If you feel like splurging, buy a bottle of 2016 Pinot Noir and drink this elegant wine on the deck while watching the waves landing on the beach. Book this place and collect wondeful memories.

Great place to stay. Close to beautiful beaches and the house was comfortable, clean and spacious.

We had an amazing stay and it made our Easter break great! Our host was so helpful and we really appreciated his thoughtful advice. We fully recommend this place to anyone wanting a great break on Tassie’s east coast.

A fantastic location. Beautifully appointed and perfect for a catch up with old friends. The top lounge affords amazing coast view and comfy couch to curl up with an cuppa, the bottom lounge cosy with the wood stove and any number of lovely outdoor places to sit and enjoy the great garden which is perfect for a dog. Kitchen has all we needed and the wood fired pizza oven was fun for home made pizzas. This truly is a stand out place to stay. Immaculately clean and Jan was responsive and provided great support for our check in and stay. Thank you!

I had a truly relaxing stay here. The location is incredibly peaceful—perfect for unwinding and enjoying some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle. At the same time, it’s conveniently situated close to local shops, restaurant and cafes. I loved being able to enjoy the calm surroundings without feeling too far removed from everything I needed. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a tranquil yet well-connected getaway.

We loved our stay at Tillrander. It was a beautiful little spot with all the basic amenities you could need for a couple. Communication from Emily was clear and prompt and we liked not having pages of house rules to follow! A lovely location, easy to walk to the beach and local eating and shopping spots.

The location was great, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Janine was incredibly responsive, kind, and made sure I had everything I needed for a great stay. You can tell they really care about their guests’ experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay again in the future.
