It was cozy and clean, the extra touches show they care about comfort! Towels were big, soft and fluffy! Bed was soooo comfortable and sheets were nice and soft! What a peaceful place to relax and yet town was close and easy access! I can’t Wait to go back!!!

my friends and i had a great stay, David was very responsive to any questions we had. our doggies loved the big yard to sniff around. the hot tub was very relaxing and spacious. i would recommend to make sure you have directions saved to the house because we didn’t have signal for 10 miles to the house. luckily there was wifi to help us navigate home before we left.

This is such an awesome place, quiet location, peaceful. Very cool interior. Creative and felt right at home. Lots of bird action outside in all different colors. Other animals showed up on the property like wild turkeys, rabbit, deer… 15 min drive to town if needed. Spent our 33rd anniversary here and it was what we needed. Centrally located in the state of KY so it was good drive in different directions each day for bourbon in Bardstown, live bluegrass in Rosine, caves near Cave City and local hiking - so much fun at this great home or outside doing things.

Mary's place (Nana and Pa's) was warm and inviting from the minute we pulled in the driveway. It was extremely clean and she even left us homemade honey bun muffins which were delicious! She had a closet full of toys which helped to keep my kids entertained for several hours. The front, back, and side yard gave my kids plenty of space to run around and get energy out. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in her comfortable furniture. The beds all slept good too. The kitchen table was a nice size for playing the games she had stored in the closet .We didn't use the fire pit because it was a little too breezy, but maybe next time we can because we would definitely stay here again next time we're in Kentucky.

Loved the place from the moment we drove up. This is exactly what we wanted, a peaceful country home. There was the ever present creek and flowing water sounds. There was the long country road across the property for a walk in nature among the deer and turkeys. We loved the history of the area and the little towns with their historic buildings. We drove into the big city to catch a show at the Louisville Palace Theater. In short, we loved the whole experience. The house was clean and had all the modern conveniences. The bed was the most comfortable of any properties we’ve stayed. Looking forward to going back someday. Oh yeah, the hosts were immediately responsive to our few questions.

Very easy to get situated in the cabin. It was very clean and private which is what we look for. It was nice to have pancakes in the morning. Nice treat. We usually take our own coffee but we forgot. I was excited to see it was stocked with coffee too. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Hot tub was already hot when we arrived! They had beautiful flowers and fire starters for the fire pit. We enjoyed the games available and they even had some books to peruse. Upon entry they had the fireplace and some music waiting for us. It was a nice touch. There were plenty of towels for the shower and hot tub. . Sorry for making more laundry for you but thanks for all the towels! It was also an easy drive to bowling green where we had dinner two nights. Equally easy drive to mammoth cave.

A very peaceful cabin! Was a great place to stay for our travels. Loved the hot tub! James was very proactive in informing us about the recent nationwide flooding that affected the outdoor space, so we didn’t get to use the fire pit but it was still a great space for our needs. It was an amazing cabin and we would definitely stay here again!
