Mesa Hideout, Off-Grid Adobe in Terlingua Ranch

The adobe is perched high on the edge of Jack Eden Mesa in the Chihuahuan Desert. The rustic adobe overlooks the historic Comanche Trail and is built near an ancient Indian campsite as evidenced by metate's, stacked rocks and a petroglyph. This is a very remote location and will provide you with a unique, wild west experience not available many other places. The one room cabin has 4 twin beds. All water is captured rainwater and must be used conservatively. There is limited cell phone service.

Terlingua Belle & Private Bathhouse-Locally Owned

Terlingua Belle is a furnished 13 foot glamping tent with heat, air conditioning and a private bathhouse located just minutes from the Ghosttown. The tent is set up on a private "nook" on the property - no other tents or tipis on the property! Comfortable outdoor seating makes for an amazing view of the night sky as well as beautiful sunrises. Lighted pathways lead from the parking area to the tent and from the tent to the bathhouse. Belle is located about 1 mile off the highway on a dirt road.

Living Rock Campsite #1

Our campsite is located on the hill behind Terlingua Ghost Town, 1/2 mile from Restaurants and shopping. Campfires are allowed. We have a composting toilet on the campground and an outdoor shower available. The view from your campsite is a 360 degree panoramic view of the Big Bend region complete with a sunrise over the Chisos and a sunset in the Chihuahuan desert of Mexico. The road to the campsite is unpaved. Take it slowly, any car will make it. One tent per site, please. Tent not included.

Terlingua Casita de Chile's

This is a 107 acre property that allows for lots of wildlife viewing, stargazing and just enjoying quiet and relaxing evenings. This is one of two rentals on the 107 acres! This property is a scenic 50 minute drive to the BBNP entrance. At 45 minutes along the way to BBNP you will pass gas, grocery and adult beverage stores. Once you return to the property for the evening, you will find a cooling/hot tub, wildlife along with peaceful relaxing stars and scenery to enjoy. Car accessible.

Retro Rents Painted Ladies, Alice

Alice is a 28 Ft Argosy by Airstream, filled with a fun decor with a few ( lots ) of flamingos that keep her cozy and fun. Terlingua is a destination and our Alice's deck is THE spot to sit and watch the sun set in the East as well as the west! There are no streetlights so as the sun fades, the stars begin to shine and the milky way washes across the sky just for you. So if your looking for a for laid back time, or an adventure come enjoy a true Airstream experience.

Cozy Caravan ll 10 minutes to BBNP

The Cozy Caravan ll located in walking distance from the Terlingua Ghost Town sits on 5 acres of private land and is equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The trailer is great for enjoying the quiet mornings, sunsets and the milky way, after a day of exploring the Big Bend. The entrance to Big Bend National Park is a ten minute drive to the West Entrance Station and a 15 minute drive to the Barton Warnock Center in Big Bend Ranch State Park.

Big Bend Bunkhouse #2 - 1 mile from Big Bend NP

This is 1 of 5 bunkhouses we have available. Look for other Big Bend Bunkhouses if this one is booked! The camper has 2 AC units and accommodates up to 6 guests. It is located at Study Butte RV Park, just 1 Mile from entrance to Big Bend National Park. It is also across the street from the only grocery store in town - The Cottonwood. This is a beautiful, vibrant location with completely dark skies. You will be amazed by the stars & constellations!

Unique & curated, showcasing the culture and style that really embraces the old-school authentic Terlingua style, from when it was all guides, adventurers, geologists, paleontologists, before there was click pay drop ship…. We combed the region to create these culture-centric places just like you would have had up until about 5 years ago. everything has a story and a life before this.
