We couldn’t have picked a better location to spend our 1 year wedding anniversary. We spent a beautiful Saturday at Blackwater Falls and exploring any trace of the Blackwater 100 (historic offroad race) around town. Sunday was raining and we spent the entire day at the cabin having the most peaceful day watching the clouds roll through.

Absolutely amazing stay for me and my friends for a weekend of snowboarding. This place is on the lore quiet, less trafficy side of the mountain and near the easiest slopes if youre a beginner!

We had a fantastic stay at Sylvia’s Airbnb! The space was much more spacious than the pictures suggested, and it had such a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped and perfect for cooking meals, and we really appreciated having laundry and a hot tub—both great bonuses after long days on the slopes. The location was super convenient, making it easy to get to Snowshoe. The only downside was that essential supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags were limited. While Sylvia wasn’t able to restock them during our stay, she did reimburse us for what we purchased, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to book again next winter!

LaShonda’s place was adorable and in the perfect location for us. We came to the area for Shenandoah National Park and were only a few minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive. We were also only a couple of minutes from cute coffee shops, restaurants, a local kombucha brewery, and the river park. The neighborhood was quiet and we slept like rocks in the comfy bed after hiking and exploring all day. In the morning we could also enjoy complimentary coffee and tea from the well stocked coffee bar at the house if we didn’t feel like venturing out yet. We loved the adorable backyard which was fully fenced for added privacy and security. The place was clean and stocked with all the basics we needed - toilet paper, cooking utensils and pans, seasonings, cleaning supplies, etc. Bonus: you are a very reasonable drive from other cool places to visit like Charlottesville and Monticello.

This place is beautiful. Very easy to find, easy entry, and private. Ziggy was helpful and communicative throughout the stay. There were little issues here and there but overall a great and convenient place to stay with a large group! The hot tub was nice, too. 4.5 - 5 star experience for sure.

Had a fun time here! Well equipped, plenty of space, and loveee the aesthetic with all the cute bears! Would definitely reccomend!

We came here for spring break and it was very nice, quiet, and peaceful. We loved the hot tub, the pool table, and the rocking chair. We had so much fun and made so many great memories. :)
