Just 500 m from Silversand Beach in Betty’s Bay, Sol Y Sombra is a self-catering studio with courtyard and barbecue facilities. This cozy and homely open-plan studio has its own entrance and comes with tiled floors and wooden furniture. It features a double bed and bathroom has a bath. Guests can prepare meals in the kitchenette, which includes a gas hob, microwave, kettle and a refrigerator. The enclosed courtyard offers a table with chairs, BBQ facilities and a heated outside shower.

Indoor and outdoor showers - and a large outside bath for luxuriating whilst still close to nature. Spacious lounging area. Ideally positioned to walk to shops, restaurants and Village amenities and even closer to the main swimming, fishing and diving beach. Welcome in our charming cottage with the sounds of the little river, frogs and the ocean in the background. Betty's Bay is well known for its unspoiled nature, mountain, fynbos, beaches, lakes and gorgeous African (jackass) penguins. The penguins are within walking distance. The famous Harold Porter Botanical gardens is 5 minutes drive away. Betty's Bay has endless hiking, surfing, angling and snorkeling opportunities. A local grocery store is about 700 metres from the house.

Misty Shores Cottage offers magnificent views of the mountain on the one side and the ocean on the other side. The property is surrounded by indigenous gardens, making the cottage ideally suited to those seeking a connection with nature, and a space in which to relax and recharge.

The sand dunes are 15 meters from the house, and the beach a 3 minute walk Great for 1 or 2 families with up to 6 children, or 3 couples. Please note: not suitable for more than 6 adults.
