We loved staying here and it was the perfect location for our family Easter! I truly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the owners! It was very clean and well appointed with anything you need and the owners were very accommodating and kind! They helped with a couple requests, including a pack and play and high chair. We were able to cook a large Easter dinner with the stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. The property is very serene with plenty of privacy and great options for hiking around. The location is also not too far to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Lastly, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! We highly recommend to stay here and know we will definitely be back for another stay!

The air BnB was very clean and had all the amenities a family could ask for, very nice location on a beautiful secluded lot. The hot tub was one of the nicest hot tubs I’ve been in. Slate pool table kept us entertained for hours. Fully stocked kitchen was very nice has everything we need to cook breakfast in the morning. The water pressure was awesome and water got hot quickly! Overall we had a great experience and will be back in the future! I strongly recommend this Airbnb! It comfortably slept 8 people and we had a great time!

The cabin is beautiful. My family had a wonderful time. We can't wait to come back again.

We absolutely loved our get away to the Hillbilly Hill-ton. Tucked away from everything, we got to focus on having fun as a family away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We did Mammoth Cave, enjoyed the hot tub, and loved the saloon! Already missing it!

We've stayed at a lot of cabins for fall and spring breaks with our kids & this is one of our absolute favorites! Everything was clean & comfortable, the hot tub is fantastic, and the layout of the house worked well for our family (kids in the basement, mom + dad in the upstairs master). There's an incredible amount of deck space (three levels!), and having coffee outside each morning was a highlight for me. The 18-hole disc golf course is a unique feature! My 7-year-old is just getting into disc golf, and we liked that we could just take him out to play a couple of holes at a time after spending the day doing other activities. A couple of things to know: (1) Grocery stores are few & far between in the area, so plan to bring most of what you need with you or to eat at local restaurants while you're out and about, (2) If you're visiting Mammoth Cave, look up information about the Green River Ferry -- not only is it a fun experience but it will save you a ton of driving time.

Stone Creek cabin is as the photos appear. The original design inside and out is beautiful. The interior is like a southwestern work of art, full of interesting details in the woodwork, tile and rock decor. It seemed to me to have been someone’s labor of love with attention to every detail. April continues to do the same, providing everything possible to welcome her guests, extra snacks and drinks, etc. There were plenty of supplies, linens. The master bed on the main floor was very comfortable. Every room was tastefully decorated and all rooms were perfectly neat and clean. ( Compliments to the cleaning staff since we followed a 13 guest bachelor's party. ) April is very kind and easy to work with regarding arrangements. I always felt I could contact her if we ran into a problem. We saw deer and a turtle outside the cabin. Not so much as a gnat inside the cabin. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone.

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.

Had a great time at the house. Very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Bathrooms and kitchen were all well stocked. Quiet neighborhood and extras in the game room were a plus.

My family & I had such a great time staying here! It was one of the cleanest Airbnbs that I have ever stayed in, if you don't mind the occasional tiny creature. Holli was extremely proactive with her messages and her descriptions of the area. There were quite a bit of food options and gas stations within a 30-minute trip. We visited Mammoth Cave during our stay, and this was not only the perfect distance away, but the perfect place to relax after being on our feet in the heat all day. Ending our nights with s'mores by the campfire was the cherry on top. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy retreat!

This place was so cute and we could tell a lot of love went into it. We only got to stay one night and it rained and snowed. We’re hoping to visit again in the spring or summer when we can enjoy her backyard and porch swing!

Cozy, clean cabin nestled in beautiful scenery with ponds, nearby lake for kayaking, hiking trail with cave, waterfall, Billy Goats gruff & trolls. Hosts were very responsive. Would be a great place for family reunions. Remote--DG Market about 20 minutes away. Large porches to relax & take in the views or firepit to gather around. Toured Crystal Onyx Cave with kitchy picture ops. Visited Bowling Green. Want to come back to track a corvette & visit museum. Booked 3 nights--should have planned a whole week!

Our family gathered here from all around the states and it was a perfect spot for us to hang out. The rain prevented us from enjoying the beautiful yard, but the wraparound covered porch was a super special feature that allowed us to be outside...even in the rain. The house was about an hour from several great distilleries, Lexington, and Louisville...so a real nice peaceful getaway near some hustle and bustle if you want some of that, too!

Very easy to find, close to the event we were in town for, quiet area, and felt safe during the severe weather that occurred during our stay. Just wish we could’ve had better weather to get to enjoy more of the outdoor space!

Cozy, peaceful little place with a thoughtful setup, host was super proactive and responsive! The land is well cared for and it's soooo nice and quiet. Made a little kitty friend while enjoying the porch, 10/10 cat very good stargazing buddy.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was secluded enough to feel like a retreat and close enough to go out and explore. The pond and porch are fantastic relaxing spots. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. We went on the bourbon trail and checked out Woodford Reserve, Castle & Key, Wild Turkey, Four Roses, and Buffalo Trace. We also enjoyed some of Tracy’s recommendations, such as, dining at The Glitz and Wildside Winery. Everything was amazing! At the end of the trip, I wasn’t ready to leave. I enjoyed one last bourbon on the porch and said goodbye to the beautiful slice of heaven that Tracy and Larry shared with us. I am already looking at the calendar to schedule another visit. Thank you Tracy and Larry, from all of us!

Beautiful place to stay! This was our second trip to this property and we thoroughly enjoy the location every time! There’s something about waking up in the country, drinking coffee while overlooking miles and miles of land as the sun rises, and hearing the beautiful sounds of nature. We look forward to booking this place again next year!

What a great peaceful retreat, not too far away from Louisville. Great to relax with the birds chirping around us and not much else to disturb us! The place had a wide open but warm feel letting in plenty of light during the day. We enjoyed hanging outside on the deck and also took short hikes into the woods alongside the creek - which were so peaceful and nice. The master bedroom was cozy as well to relax in and watch movies. John was very accommodating to meet all of our needs!

Stay here! a lovely private location at the top of a hill. Out there - but worth it. We didn't mind the drive to different caves every day, and spent a lot of time in the cabin. It's well stocked and perfect for families. We loved playing games and cooking over the fire at night. Definitely would visit again.

Great place to relax after a long day of sipping bourbon. Out in the country with great vistas of the farm land. The wrap around porch always offers a calm side from any wind. Enjoyed watching the long horns. Restaurants were a bit sparse in the area but we had no problem picking up groceries on the way back from bourbon tasting and then cooking a nice meal in the cabin.

Absolutely loved Bourbon Barrel cottages! Beautiful setting out in the rolling hills of Kentucky. Lose to distilleries and restaurants yet out far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Angie was out every day tending to the beautiful landscaping. They even offer fresh eggs on-site. Book this place next time you’re in bourbon country, you won’t be disappointed!

Great place! so peaceful and the environment and surroundings were amazing! easy to get to.. Stephanie was very responsive when we had a question well worth the money plan on coming back soon!

Our stay at Susan’s little piece of heaven was above and beyond what we expected. We got to feed the animals, enjoy an absolutely beautiful view from every direction, enjoy the sounds of nature, and sleep in the most amazing/updated/character filled cabin. Susan was so helpful and kind throughout our stay and even before, by far the best host experience we (7 ladies) have had. This property has so much to do we didn’t leave so I can’t speak on the local area but if you’re looking for a stay-cation full of nature this place is it. I will absolutely be back for a family vacation and am already looking forward to it. :)
