A serene setting perfect for relaxing! We couldn’t have asked for better weather spending a long weekend at this cabin on the lake! We grilled out on the lovely patio and enjoyed the prettiest sunsets on the lake. Alisa had messaged us before our stay letting us know of some updates to the cabin, including some cozy new fireplaces! We enjoyed the ambiance in the very comfortable master bedroom where we recharged between hiking trips to Itasca State Park and Bemidji Lake State Park. We loved that the cabin was pet friendly so we could bring our dog along for the adventures with us! We made the majority of our meals at the cabin, and the kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed. Alisa was so friendly and helpful, prepping us for our journey ahead and checking in with us once we arrived. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay for your next Northern MN adventure, this is it!

We were back for a second year! Works out beautifully when we come with another couple. Each get our own private areas, but also have plenty of room to hang out and enjoy our time together! The clear, prompt communication is always helpful. We love the setting in the woods and enjoy visiting the chickens each day. The kitchen is well-equipped. It’s nice and private here with a friendly neighbor, Jeff (who checks on chickens). Walking trail around the lake in the state park is just down the road. We saw lots of wildlife, including lots of trumpeter swans and loons. You can even enjoy some air hockey together upstairs! Great restaurants and things to do less than 12 minutes away…you won’t be disappointed!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this lakeside cabin. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The lake was peaceful and serene, great for boating on the included pontoon boat or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the lake. Our kids loved exploring the shoreline and fishing off the dock. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a tranquil family vacation.

It was my second time making a trip up to Josh's place. Such beautiful and peaceful cabin and in a great location. All the amenities of home and right down the road from Red Lake. Would highly recommend to those planning a trip to fish Red Lake.

The place was perfect with everything we needed, very clean and furnished, close enough to town yet secluded enough to have privacy giving a taste of backwoods Minnesota. Perfect stay for what we desired, very cozy, excellent neighborhood, good roadways and simple directions. Absolutely saving the spot for any possible future visits to backwoods bemidji. Thank you:)

This property is conveniently located, easy to get to Lake Bemidji, restaurants and BSU. Perfect rental for 2-3 people. It has everything you need. We would definitely stay again!

Other than a few small cleanliness things, we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin itself is beautiful and set in a beautiful location. It was quiet, super peaceful, and very relaxing to be in. It also had just about everything we needed to cook with. Anthony was super helpful and responsive to any questions that we had. I would love to go back, and I would definitely recommend staying here and booking with Anthony.
