We had a nice stay at the White House. The house was clean and comfy and the location is perfect for attending events at the Sanford Center. Kristie Anne was a great host with excellent communication. The smoke alarm was going off when we returned in the evening and she had a new one installed in just a few minutes of us notifying her of it.

A serene setting perfect for relaxing! We couldn’t have asked for better weather spending a long weekend at this cabin on the lake! We grilled out on the lovely patio and enjoyed the prettiest sunsets on the lake. Alisa had messaged us before our stay letting us know of some updates to the cabin, including some cozy new fireplaces! We enjoyed the ambiance in the very comfortable master bedroom where we recharged between hiking trips to Itasca State Park and Bemidji Lake State Park. We loved that the cabin was pet friendly so we could bring our dog along for the adventures with us! We made the majority of our meals at the cabin, and the kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed. Alisa was so friendly and helpful, prepping us for our journey ahead and checking in with us once we arrived. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay for your next Northern MN adventure, this is it!

My family absolutely loved staying at The Getaway. The accommodations exceeded our expectations, and the hosts were responsive & friendly. The home has a perfect layout for both privacy & togetherness. The property is absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of space for kids to safely run & play. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

This was the most welcome we have felt at any of our stays! Meeting with our hosts in person and getting a tour and being able to communicate in person helped us feel as we were staying with family. We enjoyed this visit so very much and wish it could have been a longer stay. We absolutely will keep our eyes open for staying when we have an opportunity to be in the area again! This is a great pup friendly condo with amazing views, close to the Paul Bunyan State Bike/Walk trail to walk the dog. Plenty of space with a well stocked kitchen. The four-plex is situated away from the road, so very quiet with great views of the lake. Plenty of parking closeby. Bemidji had many great restaurants to try!

The place was perfect with everything we needed, very clean and furnished, close enough to town yet secluded enough to have privacy giving a taste of backwoods Minnesota. Perfect stay for what we desired, very cozy, excellent neighborhood, good roadways and simple directions. Absolutely saving the spot for any possible future visits to backwoods bemidji. Thank you:)

Logan was so incredibly helpful during my stay. We had basically no issues from start to finish, but I had reached out about some kitchen items. They went out of their way to drop some off for us when I was fully prepared to just purchase disposables at the store! SO KIND. Also incredibly responsive and easy to talk to. The stay was great, my son loved it and has asked that I book it again in the future. They even offered a late check out if I needed it, unprompted. Thanks so much for helping me make a memorable weekend with my son!
