French Style Cottage

Welcome to our gorgeous french style cottage with lake views and front deck.... Situated in a great area of central Taupo, just a short walk to the lake front and 15 minutes walk to the town centre, this French Style Cottage is the perfect place to stay for your next getaway. The cottage consists of 2 bedrooms (one with a queen bed, one with single) and there is also a sofa bed in the living room if required. The 3rd bedroom is set up as a wellness room with the infrared sauna. High quality linen is used on the beds and towels are provided. Eco friendly cleaning products are also used. If you are arriving by car, there is ample off street parking available. The cottage is situated in a quiet residential street but close enough to everything that is required. The closest large supermarket is a 20 minute walk, there is a smaller superette, fabulous cafe, fruit and veg shop, and butcher a mere 10 minutes walk away. Taupo is an incredible place to explore - kayaking, boating, the mountains, cafes. restaurants, the lake and surrounding rivers, amazing bush walks and mountain bike tracks. It is also the most beautiful place just to chill and absorb the incredible surroundings. As hosts we can leave you to be completely independent or help you with what you require be it a massage therapist, a private yoga class, organic healthy food, or just recommendations as to what there is available in our beautiful town. Quiet, simple, relaxing, healing, and gentle on the soul, the cottage has a beautiful energy. We look forward to meeting you soon.

Enjoy our resort-style 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home, with only a 10-min walk to the beach and shops. Open-plan living which flows to the outdoor entertaining space featuring a BBQ and wood-fired pizza oven. Two bedrooms have private ensuites, and two rooms can be set up as super king or twin beds. King fisher cottage is a tranquil eco cottage set on the rivers edge of 11 acres of wild farmland and beautifully landscaped gardens that offer total privacy. The cottage has a semi-outdoor bath for bathing while star gazing, a kitchenette, living area & bedroom. There is no wifi & minimal phone reception, the perfect place to get away and unwind an enjoy nature. PLEASE NOTE: June through to September the track is too soft for a car so you need to park in the carpark and walk 40m to cottage.
