Tui Bush Cabin

Take a short drive (approx 3kms) up the valley from Ngunguru to Tui Bush Cabin. This is where you can relax amongst the native bush, and listen to the tui's chatter from dawn till dusk. Our beautiful small wooden cabin comprises of a fitted kitchen with a 4 burner gas hob, convection microwave, toaster, jug, refrigerator and sink. A drop leaf table and chair. A double bed with sheets and duvet. Separate bathroom with flush toilet, basin and shower. Outside decking with table and chairs.

Welcome to the Riverside Studio from where a short stroll takes you to the Town Basin marina with cafes, shops and restaurants and the Hundertwasser art center and park. Maybe you fancy a walk around the Town Basin loop. Beautiful native bush walks up Parihaka from where you can enjoy sweeping views over the city and Whangarei Harbour or along the Hatea River, are on your door step. For a bigger work out you can keep going, via A.H. Reed park, right up to the Whangarei falls.

Welcome to the FlaxPod! Set on 7 acres and just a 2 minute drive from town, this special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. This property is home to highland cattle, pigs, sheep and two very friendly dogs. We welcome your dogs too! This listing is for one bedroom but can be two bedroom (these are separate listings on air BnB). Please note, this property is not fully fenced and there is a large pond which may not be suitable for small children.
