Tasman West - on the beach!

Our home is 'on the beach' and is situated midway between Greymouth and Punakaiki. We offer a self contained unit on the ground floor of our home. The beach is just a few steps away and is great for walking. Punakaiki is 20 minutes from the house, Greymouth is also 20 minutes and Hokitika airport is a 50 minute drive to the south. Greymouth offers a range of eateries and there is a pub and hotel in Punakaiki. We are situated on state high way 6, which is well known for its spectacular scenery.

If it is privacy you seek this is the ideal spot for you! 5 min walk to a secluded Beach. It's not uncommon to be the only one on the beach... great viewing for sunsets

Our secluded hideaway cabins are the perfect retreat for those seeking solace and adventure on the Westcoast. Large covered deck with gas BBQ, and amazing sea views. Fully self-contained kitchen with an electric oven, an electric cooktop, a microwave, washing machine and a half fridge. Gas fireplace which easily and quickly warms the whole house. Featuring super king spilt beds in both bedrooms, so can be set up as 2 super king beds, or 4 single beds, or any combination on request.

Magical beach house meters from the beach, 3 elegant bedrooms, spacious character-filled lounge and modern kitchen/dining area all designed with larger families or couples travelling together. Sunny private retreat with stunning coastal views . Look out to the waves from your bed with a deserted beach at the end of the driveway. Explore the local area beaches, surfing , river, seal colony and the Cape Foulwind walkway all within 2km . Good cell phone reception and wireless internet. The Cottage is very private, brand new and 50m from the main house. Full kitchen facilities with dishwasher and deck with BBQ and outside fire brazier. Smart TV with Netflix for lazy days.

This house sits opposite the Tasman Sea with stunning views over the ocean and south to New Zealand's highest peak - Mount Cook. The views are stunning and often with beautiful evening sunsets. It is a 5 minute drive to Greymouth and a 1 km to the start of the Point Elizabeth scenic bush walk. This is a great bush walk mainly sheltered with good native bush cover. The main bedroom has great sea views and an ensuite. Plenty of parking space is available behind the house.

"Punakaiki Dreaming" - Gorgeous Character Bach

Built by two brothers in 1924 and lovingly restored by the present owners, this bach boasts charisma and character. Located on a private section, sheltering right behind the sea wall and within minutes of the amazing Pancake rocks and the stunning Paparoa National Park, this bach enjoys a truly ideal location. An abundance of activities such as kayaking, surfing, mountain biking, walking, swimming and stand up paddle boarding await only a few minutes walk away.

Seaside Cottage, Paparoa Park Motel

Seaside Cottage is nestled amongst the premises of Paparoa Park Motel & Cottages and offers probably the best views of the famous Pancake Rocks and Blowholes from the plateau the cottage sits on. Two bedrooms, an open plan living area, fully equipped kitchen and huge private verandahs make your stay unforgettable. Paparoa Great Walk, Pancake Rocks and all other walks, Cafe, DOC visitor centre just around the corner.
