Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way for showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend.
You'll be guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant curiosities.
We accept only small groups because we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give each person the highest attention possible.

The visit, that will last about 3 hours, will start from Piazza Ferrarese where we will start telling you some secrets of beautiful Bari. There we will look for Vito, a local musician, to experience "Tarantella" a typical Apulian dance and have some fun singing and playing with his instruments. Later on, we will stop at one of the oldest "Panificio" of the city to taste our typical focaccia. This will give us some good energy to continue discovering the city. Next stop will be the cosy Basilica of Saint Nicholas with the secrets of its walls, the beautiful Cathedral of Saint Sabinus and the exterior of the millenary Swabian Castel. From there, we will have a food stop in a typical "Salumeria" to taste different types of salumi and cheese while enjoying a glass of delicious Primitivo wine. We will continue visiting the famous Pasta Street where ladies still make pasta outside. And yet another stop to taste typical fried food freshly cooked by Signora Maria. Last stop, taste of yummy artisan icecream.

We will take you on a 3 hours bike tour, show you the secrets of the city and taste delicious street food. Lets us introduce you to some friends, see how we make pasta, show you the way we communicate with our hands while we do several stops in a Panificio to eat typical "focaccia", in a Salumeria to try different types of cheese and salumi while we drink primitivo wine. We'll try delicious fried sgagliozze at the stalls of Largo Albicoca. We will seal the deal with a taste of yummy italian home made ice cream. Do you still want more? Then keep the bikes for the rest of the day and continue exploring the city by yourselves.....

This will be and easy ride as the city is very flat so it is really suitable for every age.
Cooking class, degustazione taralli pugliesi e gelatina vino
La Puglia è sempre nel cuore non solo per i suoi colori e le sue bellezze artistiche e paesaggistiche, ma anche per i suoi sapori.
Per godere di un'esperienza enogastronomica da protagonisti, insieme prepareremo secondo la ricetta della tradizione l'impasto dei tarallini al vino primitivo (dolci e salati), daremo la tipica forma a ciambellina e li inforneremo. Prepareremo anche la gelatina al primitivo (una mia specialità che riscuote successo tra amici e conoscenti) che cuocerà per circa 20 minuti.
Al termine delle cotture gusteremo insieme i tarallini e la gelatina che ben si prestano ad accompagnare formaggi e salumi pugliesi, ricotta fresca e vino primitivo di Manduria.
Prima di salutarci ogni partecipante porterà con sé non solo le ricette, ma anche i tarallini e la gelatina preparati con le proprie mani. Così potrà gustarli a casa, mantenere viva l'esperienza, regalarli ai propri cari e cogliere l'occasione per condividere e far conoscere queste prelibatezze pugliesi.

L'esperienza inizia già quando sali in barca, sarai cullato dal mare. Non è il solito tour ma un tripudio di emozioni.
Dal mare scoprirai un’altra fantastica prospettiva della città di Bari . Lentamente costeggeremo il lungomare con i suoi imponenti edifici storici, ci fermeremo nell’ansa della città vecchia e se il tempo lo consentirà, potrai nuotare, oppure , fotografare la Basilica di San Nicola , la vecchia marineria, la cattedrale di San Sabino i Circoli Nautici, il Faro .
Prenderemo il largo e se saremo fortunati incontreremo le diverse specie di delfini che giocheranno con la prua della nostra barca.
Avrai l'opportunità di imparare i rudimenti della navigazione a vela, potrai prendere il timone e guidare la barca partecipando attivamente alle manovre di bordo o semplicemente sederti e goderti il panorama ed ascoltare musica . Durante la veleggiata vedrai le piccole e grandi barche dei pescatori intente nel loro lavoro ed i gabbiani che le fanno da cornice.
Se le condizioni meteo lo consentiranno potrai nuotare al largo nelle acque blu del mare Adriatico

Partendo dalla centrale Piazza del Ferrarese, ci addentreremo nei vicoli della Città Vecchia per conoscerne le usanze, la cultura e la sua storia millenaria. Visiteremo i luoghi di culto tra cui la Basilica di San Nicola e la Cattedrale ma anche quelli della tradizione ammirando le signore che realizzano la pasta fresca a mano. Infine scopriremo la storia del Castello Svevo per poi concludere passeggiando per il lungomare monumentale e i viali del quartiere francese caratterizzati da eleganti palazzi e storici teatri. After a storytelling on the tradition, the present and (why not) the future of Apulian and Italian wines, we will get right away into what we are interested in: tasting!
We will go through different styles of wines, so we can compare and recognize the different personalities: you can choose to taste only wines from the region or also from the rest of Italy, in order to have a wider view. It's up to you!
The tasting will take place at a private table of one of the nicest Wine Bars of Bari, with a wide assortment of wines: natural, orange, small producers, traditional wineries, and much more. Everything will be paired with local appetizers in a cozy local environment.

Bari Street Food and Sightseeing tour
After meeting we will start our walking between the alleys of the old city centre, headed to our first tasting of focaccia and beer. I will tell you the history related to the main highlights such as Basilica of Saint Nicholas or Cathedral of Saint Sabino and Teatro Petruzzelli or the other places that we will find on our way. From one place to to the other, we will stop to some shops for tasting the most famous samples of Bari street food such as "sgagliozze" (fried sliced polenta), or the "panzerotto" (deep-fried pizza roll with tomato, mozzarella, prosciutto, or cheese). You can't miss to have a small tasting of famous orecchiette, made by a local old lady that will cook them in front of you! The tour will let you know Bari in the deep and at the same time do like local do for their happy hour!

Esploreremo la Grotta Palazzese noto per ospitare un ristorante tra rocce e mare! Vedrete l'Isola dell'Eremita, dove un uomo si è isolato per decenni! E grotte che accolgono il sole al loro interno! We will start from Piazza Ferrarese and get immersed in the little alleys of Bari's old town to discover the cosy Basilica of Saint Nicholas, the beautiful Cathedral of Saint Sabinus and the millenary Swabian Castel. Lets us introduce you to some friends, see how we make pasta, show you the way we communicate with our hands while we do several stops in a Panificio to eat typical "focaccia", in a Salumeria to try different types of cheese and salumi while we drink primitivo wine. We'll try delicious fried sgagliozze at the stalls of Largo Albicoca. We will seal the deal with a taste of yummy italian home made ice cream. Do you still want more? Then keep the bikes for the rest of the day and continue exploring the city by yourselves.....

Riflessologia plantare e pediluvio vista mare
Immergiti nell'affascinante mondo della riflessologia plantare per scoprire la mappa dei punti sensibili sia in pianta che sul dorso del piede per curare la tua salute ed allontanare le tensioni. L'incontro inizia con una fase conoscitiva sorseggiando una tisana calda per poi passare al percorso sensoriale a piedi nudi e successivamente alla fase SPA di pediluvio arricchito da sali, erbe rilassanti e petali di fiori di stagione; nell'attesa, durante questa fase, sarà eseguita una leggero massaggio cervicale. Successivamente si passa alla fase di asciugatura e idratazione con burro di Karite puro e biologico oppure olio alle mandorle, alla volta della perlustrazione riflessologica dove l'ospite potrà apprendere le corrispondenze dei punti sotto la pianta del piede per stimolazione costante ai fini del benessere. Si passa quindi al trattamento meccanico per concludere la seduta con tocco energizzante piedi, gambe a salire.

La Puglia è sempre nel cuore non solo per i suoi colori e le sue bellezze artistiche e paesaggistiche, ma anche per i suoi sapori.
Per godere di un'esperienza enogastronomica da protagonisti, insieme prepareremo secondo la ricetta della tradizione l'impasto dei tarallini al vino primitivo (dolci e salati), daremo la tipica forma a ciambellina e li inforneremo. Prepareremo anche la gelatina al primitivo (una mia specialità che riscuote successo tra amici e conoscenti) che cuocerà per circa 20 minuti.
Al termine delle cotture gusteremo insieme i tarallini e la gelatina che ben si prestano ad accompagnare formaggi e salumi pugliesi, ricotta fresca e vino primitivo di Manduria.
Prima di salutarci ogni partecipante porterà con sé non solo le ricette, ma anche i tarallini e la gelatina preparati con le proprie mani. Così potrà gustarli a casa, mantenere viva l'esperienza, regalarli ai propri cari e cogliere l'occasione per condividere e far conoscere queste prelibatezze pugliesi.
