VG’s BnB

VG was our Dad, and this was his home. Dad loved to have visitors and there was always someone calling in and staying overnight. It was hard to keep up sometimes. He was a people person and committed a great portion of his life serving the people of Queensland but most particularly the people of Western Qld. We knew that Dad's home would be the perfect place for visitors to rest for a while and plan their next adventure. We hope you enjoy our little slice of paradise in the Longreach Region.

The Flat at Robin Rd Retreat

This is the perfect small space for 2 where you can enjoy garden views from airconditioned comfort or sit outside to enjoy the peace. Experience a spectacular sunrise & early birdsong as you walk the Botanical Way towards the Stockmans Hall of Fame & Qantas Founders Museum. The parkland right outside is the perfect spot to practice yoga or Pilates & if cooking is not your thing, head into town for a choice of dine in or take it away to enjoy in front of the telly! It's your private retreat!

Roses on Bluebird

Located near the hospital and high school. Enjoy a lovely stay in this newly renovated cottage which combines both modern style with an old school charm. Whether you are enjoying the glorious sunsets from the front porch or relaxing after a long day of sight seeing, this has it all. The cottage can sleep six comfortably with new queen beds and a fold out lounge, as well as new split systems throughout the property to satisfy on those hot days. Your stay with us will be one to remember.

Col’s Cottage

Welcome to Col's Cottage – a warm, Western-inspired retreat honouring Col, a lifelong stockman who called this house home. With its wide verandah, country charm, and outback touches, it’s the perfect place to slow down and soak up the rhythm of Blackall. Whether you're sipping coffee at sunrise or relaxing under the evening sky, this cottage offers a true taste of outback life. Just a short stroll from the town centre, everything Blackall has to offer is right at your doorstep.

The Quarters - Royston Station

Perfect venue for a larger group looking for a farmstaycation. If you love nature, photography, farm life, animals, birdwatching, stargazing, artesian water soaks, walking, relaxing, rugged landscapes, stunning skies and sunsets, spending time with family and friends, then The Quarters n might be the place for you. The Quarters is a short walk to the baby lake, and is complete with jetty and tables, a great spot for morning coffee or afternoon drinks or a picnic.

Evanston Station Outback Experience (Single Room)

We are a fully operational sheep station offering rustic yet very comfortable shearing quarters accommodation to suit singles, couples or families. We do not have disable access facilities at this stage. Individual private bathrooms (not en-suited), kitchen and laundry at the quarters. Each room has its own air-conditioning. Authentic, traditional shearing quarters within walking distance to homestead and private airstrip. Continental breakfast is included.

Weldon Cottage - Royston Station

Royston Station is a place to unwind, connect with nature, with family and with yourself. If you love nature, photography, farm life, animals, birdwatching, stargazing, artesian water soaks, walking, relaxing, rugged landscapes, stunning skies and sunsets, then Weldon might be the place for you. The cottage fronts our baby lake and is complete with a jetty and much bird life. Great spot for morning coffee or afternoon drinks.

Sunrise Cottage

Unplug and unwind with nature. The Sunrise Cottage is your own little hideway, it's peaceful, has the comfiest king beds you will find and full kitchen for self catering. Sit on your private deck and look out at the open spaces, night sky or catch the first glimpse of the sunrise. Cook up a storm on your BBQ or sit around your camp fire and roast some marshmallows.

Butler Cottage-Royston Station

Royston Station is a place to connect with nature and with yourself. Rest, relax. Let your responsibilities fly to the wide-open spaces. Swim, stargaze, walk, birdwatch, photograph, take in the incredible sunsets. The cottage fronts our baby lake and is complete with a jetty and much bird life. Great spot for morning coffee or afternoon drinks.

The Gully Robin Rd Retreat

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish home, nicely appointed with all essential amenities in a peaceful street. Enjoy a garden of unfenced lawn, trees & birdlife as you sip your evening drink in the outdoor seating area. Longreach Station's unit #2

Set in Longreach Station prescient is this beautiful renovated, fully furnished 2 bedroom unit. Situated only 3.5km to Longreach's CBD. There is a 25m Pool for your comfort with a lot of space for you to enjoy the rural views. Wi-Fi, undercover parking all close to the main attractions of Longreach. Look forward to hosting you then.
