This rustic, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. On top of a ridge of Sugar Maples is a 400 sq foot cabin sitting on a lovely piece of Canadian Shield. The cabin is open concept and is well appointed with a super comfy queen-sized bed, a wood stove, and an off-grid kitchen, additional sleeping is on a sofa bed. This is glamping at its finest! The cabin is located at the rear of our 20-acre property with trails and wildlife to explore. ***Please note that you will have to walk approximately 200 metres to the cabin from where you park.

My rustic and simple cabin is perfect to be one with nature. It is a 5 minute boat ride to access the cabin (the boat ride to and from is included in the nightly rate). You’ll love my place because of privacy, serenity, sunsets, and all of the trees. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. It s on the lakeshore private with sunset view and private dock . Small 14 x 14 cabin with a deck. Wifi available, heater, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, table, chairs and 2 bunkbeds. Outhouse nearby. Great place to sleep if you are going to be out all day hiking, geocaching, fishing, canoeing, atving, snowmobiling, cross country skiing or snowshoeing. South Algonquin Trails is a working horse farm. If you enjoy great people and horses then this is the place for you. Horseback riding is available on site.
