After being displaced from our home after damage from severe weather we were so fortunate to find this location. The house accommodated our family of 4 with pets for nearly a month without any issues. The kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms are well finished, bedrooms were comfortable and the location was very clean. The backyard is a beautiful and relatively private space hidden within a 15 minute walk to the downtown restaurants or the beach area. Anzhelika is an excellent host who was very responsive when needed, provided clear instructions and ample privacy. We would happily recommend this location to friends and family attending the area for events.

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Our group had a great stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Ballard Cabin was the perfect getaway! It has a warm, rustic hunting cabin vibe that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The space is incredibly cozy, with a super comfy couch and a great collection of books to browse through. The kitchen was amazing—fully stocked with everything we needed to cook a gourmet meal. The location was also perfect: just minutes from town and a short drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park, where we spent the weekend skating. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend! Thanks, Luca!

We had a lovely time at this quaint and peaceful cabin. Although it's still by the road it was very quiet and calm. We had privacy and access to walk around the lake and the surroundings. The amenities are simple but comfortable. We would return!

The place is exactly how it was advertised. Everything in the property was well thought of in terms of what people might need in their stay. Kitchen was well equipped that I was able to cook without issues. The host provided info about the location and places to see which is very thoughtful. This was the perfect airbnb for a relaxing weekend getaway! The apartment was beautiful with lots of natural light throughout, and a balcony overlooking the lake. Lesley and Ian were friendly and thoughtful hosts - we were greeted upon arrival and we especially appreciated the late checkout offered to us, which allowed us some extra time to enjoy the beautiful view by the dock. We hope to be back!

Peaceful lakeside retreat! Wonderful place to relax and rest while watching the water and listening to the many different birds. We thoroughly enjoyed the rocking chairs down by the lake. We will definitely have some evening fires is we get the opportunity to come back. The apartment is maybe the cleanest we've experienced to date. I love that the bed sheets did not smell of highly perfumed fabric softener, as I am highly sensitive to that. Thank you, Doreen! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with this lovely couple! Simona and Daniel’s place was amazing. It was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. Daniel gave us a warm welcome in the front yard, and the music playing when we walked into the unit set such a relaxing atmosphere. Simona was super quick to respond and never left us hanging. If we’re ever back in Harcourt, we’d definitely stay here again. We had a great time.

Anuhea was an amazing host. The place is as described, beautiful & cozy. Short waltz to downtown Peterborough. Did not have enough time in our quick visit to do the sauna, but what a bonus!!! We would stay a hundred times over & bigly recommend these wonderful people & their guest suite.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The check-in instructions were very clear and easy to follow, making the whole process seamless. The space itself was incredibly comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight for me was the stunning view of the lake — it was so peaceful and beautiful. Additionally, the location was perfect, with a great proximity to downtown, so I was able to easily explore the area. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy getaway with amazing views!

I had a wonderful solo experience at Catherine's cabin. It was cozy, comfortable and had everything I needed to cook simple delicious meals. BBQ for dinners and the frying pan was perfect for breakfast. The view was absolutely stunning, which you can enjoy from the private dock or from the cabin. It was only a 15 minute drive away from beautiful hikes and the grocery store or butcher. Very grateful to have found this place and will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! This was our 4th time coming back, and it never disappoints. The snowshoe trails are fantastic, offering great adventures right outside the door. We especially enjoyed the outdoor winter fires – a perfect way to unwind after a day in the snow. The cabin itself is so warm and inviting, truly the ideal spot for a cozy winter getaway. Tammy and Donna are such wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Can’t wait for our next visit!

“Hostess with the mostest” is an understatement for Sandra. When she says all you need to bring is your overnight bag and groceries, she means it! Her and Dejay are lovely people, offering an incredible getaway. The attention to detail and commitment to their guests is unmatched. 10/10 would recommend and return!

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

Had a wonderful stay, the cabin was absolutely perfect. Very cute, clean and well appointed. I will definitely be back. I strongly urge vacationers to try Honeys Diner, down the Rd, delicious breakfasts and the Woodview convenience store has all your last minute items that you may need, not to mention very yummy locally made cheesecake and butter tarts. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -Linda 🙌

This is a great spot! Just steps from the lake and with your own private dock and fire pit, it’s hard not to fall in love with Muskoka’a charm. Easy to find and access, stocked with all the amenities you need, and feels like home. We stayed just one night but wished we had stayed longer. Communication with Cassie was quick and her thorough instruction guide gave us all of the information we ever could’ve needed (and more!). We would definitely stay here again.

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time! It was very private and peaceful. The hot-tub was the perfect addition. We will definitely be back in the future! :)
