Schoolhouse cottage has gorgeous views of the sea and mountains and is wonderfully located for exploring the highlands. We welcome guests with small to medium dogs, but if you wish to bring a dog do not use instant booking - please get in touch with us beforehand. At the Schoolhouse you can enjoy the flexibility of a whole cottage, but for short stays of 2 nights or longer in the winter and 3 nights or longer the rest of the year.

Alan Brek, famous hero of "Kidnapped" by RL Stevenson, was born and raised in this house. Many historic events are related to Ballachulish House. It's beautiful grounds are surrounded by golf course.
