This cozy rustic A frame cabin, boasts 3 queen beds, 1 bathroom and a spacious living area. The kitchen is fully stocked to make cooking a breeze. Johnson's Peace Lodge 5G WiFi now available. Enjoy lake access in an 1830’s log cabin in the woods. You'll find a peaceful place to restore your mind, body and soul in the Manistee National Forest. Access to a 15-acre private fishing/no wake lake just few minute walk from the cabin. New dock as of June 2023. Kayaks, canoe, SUP. A/C in main bdrm. P. S. Little Log cabin on the Big Muskegon River.

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.

Little Cabin in the Woods

Little Cabin in the woods surrounded by State and Federal land, snowmobile, ATV and bike trails. Quick 30 mins drive to beautiful Lake Michigan. Cabin is heated in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Kitchen has dishes and a coffee pot for that fresh first cup. The Cabin is rustic and sets in the woods and is visited by nature. The local residents are deer, bear & squirrels. No WiFi(yet), but we have two TVs with local channels. Fire Pit and outside grill.

Peacock Trail Cabin #1

We now have WI-FI! This cabin has been totally rebuilt, and if you are a new, or returning guest, we think you will love it! We have added a bedroom, and a bigger bathroom, without losing the charm that all of our previous guests loved so much! If you love the outdoors, stay here!. Step out your front door into the beautiful Manistee National Forest. Every season there is a way to enjoy the peaceful forest!
