The Ranch House

Come experience a change of pace at The Ranch House! Life's a bit quieter out here in the desert. You might wake up to a tractor working the fields nearby, a coyote howling, or even just the intense silence. It's almost guaranteed to be very different from your normal. 26 miles from Great Basin National Park. 16 miles from Gandy, UT and Crystal Ball Caves. 12 miles north of US Hwy 6&50 right near the Utah/Nevada border. These 12 miles are driving on a well maintained county gravel road.

Ely Cottage

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. Welcome to downtown Ely. This 1000 sf 2 bedroom 1 bath home is a bit of history built around 1914 with all of the comforts of home. Located steps away from downtown Ely and a short drive from all of the outdoor activities Ely has to offer. Peaceful mornings, fun-filled afternoons and starry nights await you at this quaint and convenient location. Full kitchen, indoor/outdoor fireplaces and 2 outdoor seating areas w/ smart TV's.

Unique Property in the heart of Ely with history. What Started as a home in the 40's to becoming Ely's grocery store in the 50's with the addition of a storefront added on to the front of the home, to the main Auto parts store and then a locksmith. Some old timers in town still remember coming to the store as a kid for food and candy. Since 2018 we have updated it and now offering it for others to enjoy and make some memories of their own time here, and visit to the historical town of Ely.

TOTAL REMODEL. My place is usually rented. A mile to downtown. Super clean rental. Most come to Ely to explore the outdoors and The Great Basin. When you come home you have more than any hotel. Dedicated WiFi, your own kitchen, relaxing furniture, and no one knocking at 9 am and opening your door while you ponder the point of the “do not disturb” sign hung on the door. No shared walls. No laying there smelling people’s cigarette smoke. Cigs or marijuana smoking on the porch only.

Also within an hour drive is the Great Basin Nation Park with Cave tours and beautiful hiking trails of Mt. Wheeler.

THE BEST DARK NIGHT SKYES ANYWHERE. We are far removed from many people. We are cleaning to the Airbnb standards. Vintage 1952 recently refurbished Trailer, with all new floors and new kitchen and bathroom. Whole place is for quests. Located 5 miles from Great Basin National Park and 1/2 mile from Baker. Wonderful views from all directions and very private with own drive way and lots of parking. Pets allowed
