I had a pleasant stay at Leah's place. Her family has been very supportive, the place is safe to play around with children and lastly, what I have loved the most is the flexible check in and out times. Its a great place away from home🔥

We arrived at an ungodly hour of 02:20am way before check in time. Our host was gracious enough to organise for us a place to sleep until check in time, that was the highlight of our great host responsiveness. The place was spotless when we eventually checked in and it was exactly as it was advertised to be. During our stay our host organise additional cleaning services for us and get our place spotless. Everything in the guesthouse worked properly, the hot water, the aircon, and all the kitchen appliances. The beds were comfortable and had proper linen. Overall a great placebo stay and I can recommend it to anyone.

Maria's place was the first Airbnb I have ever stayed in in Dar es salaam. And I will not be looking for any other for my next visits. The apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated. It is clean and airy. The ACs and fans work beautifully. The caretaker is on site and standby incase of any eventualities. Whatever Maria says her apartment is, it is! It is located in a quiet and easily accessible area of Mikocheni. The area is safe to access even at night and the guard is always available to open the gate. When I arrived, the guard welcomed me with a smile knowing I was coming. Maria is a great communicator and proactive host. She was willing to leave her job to come solve a small issue at the apartment. Her flexibility and understanding is admirable. I felt at home at Maria's apartment and apart from going back there I will be highly recommending it to my friends and family.

Extremely helpful staff that responded very quickly and were extremely guestful and mindful. Nice big clean apartment, with two great bedrooms with each its bathroom, spacey kitchen. Thank you for the stay! We had a nice time in the apartment.

The location is convenient, being close to the road, though this does come with some road noise. However, everything else about the stay was excellent. The place is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary facilities, from a fully functional kitchen to comfortable sitting rooms and bedrooms. Buda, is incredibly welcoming, cooperative, and communicative, making the stay even more enjoyable. I would choose this place again on my next visit to Zanzibar.

I had a fantastic stay at Fatima's property! From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like fresh towels, local snacks. The location was perfect, very close to town and Masaki area. Fatima was always quick to respond to any questions, providing great recommendations for things to do in the area. I felt truly at home during my staycation, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you again for being such a wonderful host!

Zanna’s was an absolutely amazing place. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was better than the pictures. All amenities were there and well maintained. The house truly feels like home. Zanna is super responsive and helpful. We absolutely loved dealing with her and we certainly would go back if we are back in Dar. 10/10 would recommend. Special mention - Dennis who was our chef for the period we stayed at Zanna’s. His food was fantastic and absolutely delicious. Plus we loved interacting with him and getting recommendations of where to go from him.

It was really wonderful. Ramla and Luay are definitely one of the best hosts I ever encountered. It's a bit difficult to find this place but they have been guiding us and ready to help anytime. You need to pay your own electricity but it wasn't a problem for me. Will come again for the friendly people

Grace was the most welcoming and kind host, our flight was delayed by many hours but she still met us and kindly offered us help with a local taxi she arranged. We were a family of 6 the home was more than perfect, bedrooms are a great size and the kitchen, living room and dining area are all perfect for a family our size! Grace truly made us feel at home and any worries we had she was only a text message away. It was our first time in dar es salaam but we weren’t worried or scared staying there at all, there was a security guard at night so that gave us an extra feeling of security when staying at the air bnb. The home comes with most of what you’ll need for your stay, fresh bedding, towels, cooking equipment and more. We hope to visit one day again and we would definitely stay at graces lovely home again :)

Feels right at home. With a nice ocean facing rooftop, clean swimming pool. This is a safe lodge, location is quiet and safe with friendly staffs and secured. Responsive host and always checking if everything was ok. This is a place where you can have a perfect rest/relaxation on vacation. I will definitely book again.

Our landlord is very helpful. He helped us arrange taxis and give us a walk tour around some local places including the night market, and we tried some local street food together. The house is spacious, we had a good time with Dulla.

Great stay at Najmas house! Great location to visit all the historical tourists sites located in stone town. We stayed with two children and Najmas was the best choice, the pool and pool table were a massive hit, and was used every day. Nothing was too much to ask of Najma, she was lovely and welcoming and very helpful in organising our transfers from the airport with her driver. The house was spotless, equipped with all cooking utensils, towels, washing machine and most of all amazing aircon that was much appreciated as it was very hot. The location felt very safe and as a family we did not feel worried about walking around the back lanes of stone town, despite reading some online reviews that warned of muggers and pickpockets. We would highly recommend visiting Najmas house, it so cosy and close to everything we wanted to do and see. Thank you for a great stay!!

Hellen's home was awesome! Beautiful, spacious and clean. The garden is well kept with comfy chairs for relaxing outside if you wish to. We had a warm welcome and settled in quickly. Having a strong wifi and smart TV was a big plus. I would definitely book Hellen's place again. And there was Guccie, a lovely dog!

Nous avons passé deux nuits chez Abdallah, l’appartement est propre et fonctionnel, idéalement situé très proche des petites rues étroites de Stone Town qui mènent au bord de mer en 8mn à pied. Nous avons été accueillis très généreusement et Abdallah répondait à toutes nos questions dès que nous en avions besoin. Idéal pour découvrir Stone Town et ses richesses, merci encore !

I am very thankful for the time I could spend at the embassy appartment. It was a very nice environment, the land lady was very helpful in everything and I am just looking forward to my next stay with the embassy appartment. The location is also nice and developping around, you can have nice local food next to you. The appartment was nice, it had also solar, what made it easy to work remote & the wireless was also enough strong. All in All very very happy and a little bit sad to leave. See you next time! I had the absolute honor of being Mohamed’s very first guest, and what an amazing experience it was. The unit was immaculately clean, thoughtfully set up, and felt like a true home away from home. Mohamed went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, checking in regularly and responding instantly to any questions I had. His attention to detail and warm hospitality truly stood out. We had a wonderful stay at this flat! It truly has everything you need, from a TV to a well-equipped kitchen. The space is cozy, comfortable, and very clean. The location is fantastic, with a supermarket conveniently right in front of the flat. It’s also very quiet, which made for a relaxing experience. A small note: only one bedroom has air conditioning, while the other has a ceiling fan. Thank you for hosting us! We’ll definitely be coming back.
