DAYAK Villas Bali, a luxury tropical resort of two brand new 2-bedrooms private pool villas, Dayak and Dayak-Asmat designed and built by Swiss owner, finished to Swiss standards. The villas are tucked in the heart of Bali’s trendiest and most popular area, Seminyak. They are situated in a very quiet and save residential area on Jl. Plawa, without any noise disturbance. Just 200 m leads you to the famous shopping street Jl. Seminyak and well known restaurants and a short walk to the beautiful Seminyak Beach. To Bintang supermarket it takes a 5 min walk, to Seminyak beach 15 min. The DAYAK Villas are within a 30 minute drive from Bali’s international airport. For availability of Villa Dayak and Villa Dayak-Asmat please refer to the corresponding Calendars. Dayak and Dayak-Asmat villas Bali are built each on 500 m2 land size. The villas are completely independent and separated by a 2,5 m high wall. They look same, also the outside area, but are completely separated. Each villa has of course its own pool. So you can enjoy your full privacy. The Villas have a beautiful tropical adapted design, with a real personal original touch. A subtle combination of modern comfortable tropical living with a touch of antique ethnic art, creating a unique atmosphere secluded among lush manicured gardens. Each villa features two fully air-conditioned Bungalow-bedrooms, with queen size beds (180 cm x 200 cm), 2 beds for 4 guests. You will especially appreciate the en-suit bathrooms with its own beautiful tropical garden. The rooms are comfortable, equipped with air conditioning, offering large cupboards and views to the garden and swimming pool. They are decorated with taste and with nice combination of colors. Luxurious queen-size beds with comfortable pillows and high thread count sheets and mosquitos nets will contribute to your healthy, recuperating sleep. At Dayak and Dayak-Asmat villas there is space and comfort. Each villa has a 60 m2 open-plan living area, with well equipped kitchen, separate dining and comfortable, romantic sitting space The living and the pool area are spacious and the infinity natural stone 3 x 10 m pool gives you an impression to have a piece of the ocean in your garden. To assure you optimal service our housekeeper and some of our staff are living in the staff quarter of the resort. The entire resort in monitored by CCTV. The villa is actually set at the founding point of Ubud and many speak of the amazing energy and peace they experience here; but whether you regard yourself as spiritual or not, you are sure to come away from Indah Shambala reinvigorated by the experience. We often hear our guests talk of being conflicted in that as much as they want to go on tours and spend time looking about Ubud, they are equally enticed to just spend all their days lazing at home: it really is that great a space. If you do choose to spend more time at home we can bring Ubud to you by providing in house massages, in home meals and a number of other services. Simply talk to our staff and they will do their best to cater to your every need.. Guests will have access to the entire villa with the exception of the staff room at the rear of the property. Myself and the Indah Shambala team are present as little or as much as you need them. The staff come in daily to make your breakfasts and service your rooms and will stay as long as you have need of them... If you require even more privacy just let them know and they discreetly slip away. Your wish is their command.. The house is located in an exclusive Ubud precinct on Ubud's Royal Road. A supermarket and many restaurants, spas, shops, and cafes are in the immediate vicinity. Ubud Palace is in walking distance. The villa affords a leisurely stroll into town, but also offers you the service of our own wonderful driver, Nyoman, who will give you the best pricing on day trips and tours. There are also drivers permanently located at Bintang Supermarket, which is just outside the front gate, who can help you with all your last minute travel arrangements If you are an early bird or even if you are not, it is really worth making the effort to get out of bed and experience at least one sunrise from the villa. Step back in time to a hilltop house with views across the city through picture windows. Exposed brick and the extensive use of natural wood maintain a mid-century atmosphere, enhanced by period furnishings and gleaming softwood floors throughout. The House Manual provides information about Jack's, as we call our house. We do not host guests with accompanying pets and smoking on any part of the house and property is not acceptable. If these rules are not to your liking then please do not book. Jack's Place is an original 1960's architect designed house. A master bedroom with direct access to the bathroom (en-suite except it is the only one!). The second bedroom features jarrah flooring and exposed brick wall. The living area features a unique view across the City especially at night. Functional kitchen and laundry, air conditioning and heating. The rental terms are for the whole house but if a couple book then it is expected only one bedroom is used. On booking it is best to clarify if both bedrooms are required. If not we do not make up the second bed. Jack's Place is a free standing brick residence with its own car space. There is a walled courtyard and front lawn area/garden (yet to be fully developed ). Cate and I live behind Jack's Place and both properties share a driveway. Naturally the drive must be kept clear at all time. This 1962 house is in Golden Point, an old area in the City of Ballarat, about 125 kilometers west of Melbourne. These days the architecture of the area varies from 1860s dwellings, California bungalows, and modern high-density residences. Ballarat's main street is Sturt St. It is about a ten minute walk to the town centre and less to major supermarkets. Parking in town is charged via meter all week. On the edge of the central business district parking is free. Parking around the restaurant area of Armstrong St is difficult. My advice is to walk to dinner and Uber home. Local buses are confusing. Only a few minutes away is The Grapes Hotel, friendly and reliable. Ballarat weather can be variable. I have no control over the weather! We are perched about 375 metres above sea level, cold in Winter and hot in Summer. Summer nights tend to cool down. To keep the house warm and you comfortable, draw the blinds and turn on the heating. There are electric panel heater available in the house. Be very aware that they are not suitable for use when young children are part of the guest party. To cool the house, draw the blinds, close all windows and unnecessary doors and set the cooling for 10C below the outside temperature.
