A beautiful mid century modern house ideal for a quiet relaxing break in Bordeaux. The house interiors and furniture are tasteful and stylish. The main garden is shaded for outside dinning, along with 1st floor roof terrace for sunbathing and another terrace behind the main house for a shaded retreat Its a place to read and relax in a mid century aesthetic, which is also welcoming, comfortable and a real home. The house is full of lovely details, art and each room tastefully decorated. Delphine was very helpful in every aspect as a host. Corinne might be my favourite host ever. We ended up chatting late into the evening. Very kind. The place was perfect, all the French quirks you’d ever want. It doesn’t have the sterility of a hotel. I really appreciated the breakfasts since I woke up rather early, plus her cats were very charming and silly. I can’t wait to come back to Bordeaux.

La maison est très fonctionnelle et très confortable avec en prime une déco mi-vintage mi-street art. Étant fan du docu Exit throught the gift shop, nous avons adoré! Quant à la grande terrasse à l’élégance tropicale, elle invite à la lecture du large choix de romans graphiques et de beaux livres proposés… Le jardin mélange flore locale et plantations diversifiées dont certaines sont comestibles. Les plages sont accessibles par les pistes cyclables à proximité. En somme une adresse très originale que nous recommandons.

We had a most wonderful time at Marie and Jean's stylish house. The pool and outdoor areas are beautiful and ideally suited for entertaining al fresco. The kitchen is fantastically well equipped. The location is ideal both for easy access to tram stops (for the airport or into Bordeaux) and 5 mins stroll from St Augustin centre where there's a great market and wide selection of specialist food stores. Marie and Jean are super hosts - always there to answer any questions and provide recommendations. We thank you for your gracious hospitality and highly recommend your beautiful house.

Hôte vraiment adorable qui a pris bien soin de nous accueillir et a pris à cœur que l’on soit confortable ! Incarne parfaitement l’idée originelle du service qui est d’offrir aux visiteurs de passage son propre logis. On sent qu’on est invité dans la demeure d’une personne qui y a vécu et dont la décoration témoigne de ses goûts et personnalités, et non d’un lieu standardisé comme un hôtel sans vie et sans histoire. Nous y reviendrons car c’est sur des personnes authentiques comme elles que nous pouvons nous fier !

Beautiful little house with lots of art, plants, birds - like paradise! Normally, Lucie is living in the house, but during summer they move next door and offer their lovely home to visitors. We felt like home and better. Well equipped with verything you need for living. Easy communication, super friendly and taking care. Enough parking lots in the street. We would love to return! A very spacious apartment, with distinctive French ambience. It is within easy walking reach of central Bordeaux, trams, buses, restaurants and shops . Being next to a beautiful park was a bonus . Some breakfast items had been thoughtfully provided in the fridge. As we were with friends for our week’s stay it was perfect for both couples to have our own en-suite bathrooms . Virginie, despite recovering from a very recent operation , still responded promptly to our messages. We wish her a speedy recovery and send thanks for helping to make our stay in Bordeaux so enjoyable .

Très paisible, au calme , facile d’accès , place de parking devant le logement. Accueil super sympa , je recommande les yeux fermés !

Très bel appartement, bien situé, il y a tout à proximité. Appartement bien équipé, rangé et propre. Terrasse intérieure agréable. Parking assez proche. Je recommande.

Un hôte très accueillant et très prévenant endroit très paisible . le logement de Jean Michel est un peu excentré, mais très facilement accessible par les transports en commun et dans un quartier très calme. idéal pour se reposer le soir après une longue journée de visite ! Il est très confortable et bien équipé (nous étions 3, deux adultes et une enfant de 11 ans). jean Michel est très disponible et donne des conseils avisés aux visiteurs. très bonne expérience !!

Super séjour dans cette dépendance spacieuse, bien équipée et parfaitement propre. Vous y trouverez tout le nécessaire. Sandrine est très accueillante et agréable. Toutes les instructions sont communiquées dès le départ ce qui permet de passer un séjour très serein. Je recommande vivement ce logement !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ! l'accueil a été autonome avec de très bonnes instructions. Le logement à proximité de la gare s'est révélé être un véritable havre de paix.

Très bon séjour chez Emmanuel, très accueillante, donne pas mal de recommandation d’activité et de restaurants au alentours, le logement est propre, il correspond parfaitement à la description, le petit dej étais très bon! Je vous le recommande !!!

Pierre est un hôte accueillant, jovial et qui fait tout pour que les personnes se sentent bien. Isabelle est très à l'écoute. L'endroit est idéal entre plein confort et pleine nature. Un très bel endroit pour séjourner au Cap Ferret.

Tout est mignon.... Nous avons passé un excellent moment malgré le mauvais temps de fin de saison. La maison est tres chaleureuse et accueillante. Dominique et son mari sont adorables... Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir. Merci pour tout.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits chez Nicolas et sa famille et nous avons tout aimé: le cadre, la chambre, la cuisine accessible, la piscine. C’est très calme et c’est à proximité de tout. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Très bien je recommande vivement Logement indépendant et petit déjeuner servi dans la cuisine d’été c’était impeccable C’est laparfaite situation afin de visiter notre beau bassin d’Arcachon. Nous reviendrons avec bcp de plaisir 🤗 J’habite Bastia depuis un an mais je suis Girondine et c’était un vrai bonheur de revenir visiter ma région.

Christophe is a welcoming host. His flat is beautifully decorated. Easy to get to trams. I would definitely stay at Christophe's place again. First time in Bordeaux. What an awesome destination for sightseeing and food! I recommend these places: Restaurant Le Bouchon Bordelais, chocolatiers Cadiot Badie and Hasnaa, coffee roaster L'Alchimiste, bakery Dunes Blanches chez Pascal Bordeaux

AMAZING!!! Cannot recommend Emmanuelle & her home enough! The home was a perfect fit for my husband, our 2 kids, and myself - incredibly clean, comfortable with every creature comfort you could want, a beautiful terrace, and even included a toy box for our girls & lots of reading info about Bordeaux! Not to mention a GREAT location - very walkable to restaurants/cafes/shops, public transport & Bordeaux city center! The best part? Emmanuelle!! She is the definition of welcoming & kind! She gave us lots of great local recommendations tailored to our family, was always quickly available, and delivered an amazing, freshly baked breakfast every morning! As I said, cannot recommend enough!!
