The Japanese-inspired minimalist interior features bamboo cabinetry and paneling, with some quirky features such as a catamaran net in the loft which is also a comfortable place to chill out.

Nestled amongst the Nikau palms of a beautiful Piha section, this Airbnb is a stand alone building with private access. Hidden in the heart of Piha, you are only minutes away from the beach, cafes and waterfalls. The newly built "hut” contains an amazing queen size bed, private sheltered deck, comfortable seating and boasts a stunning view of Lion Rock. There is external access to a private bathroom located near the hut.

Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.

Nikau Garden Studio Grey Lynn

Kia ora! We would love to host you in our separate studio where you can relax in private. It includes a modern bathroom with shower, as well as a living area with a sofa/single bed. (Available for use as an extra bed on request for a $40 fee). It is set in our native NZ garden and is bright and fresh. We live in a great area with many cafes, shops, restaurants and bars nearby.
