The home was very clean and spacious. Lots of extra blankets and towels. From reading the guest book and experiencing it for myself, a cardinal comes every morning and pecks the window. He doesn't stay very long.

We had a lovely overnight stay! Everything was exactly as pictured. We had everything we needed to cook a delicious meal using the pots/pans/utensils provided in the kitchen. The extra snacks were a nice touch (we couldn’t resist trying the popcorn) and the stock of coffee/creamer was a huge plus since we forgot to bring our own for the morning. We greatly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings from the back patio and hot tub. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space!

Great place to stay before our wedding. Was perfect to house all of our wedsing party. Only complaint is all the girls feet were hanging off the beds upstairs. The loft area is not meant for adults. All together great expereince.

It was quiet and peaceful and it felt right at home the only downside to it was that at the hours of 12-1 in the morning you could hear the neighbors going up and down the driveway and being loud

We had a blast the cabin was amazing and we really likes the welcom basket and the little bottle of syrup was adorable and delicious. The hot tub was warm and ready for us and the beautiful quiet and sarene atmosphere was a great break we needed, thank you so much 10 out of 10 recommend.

Host was very helpful in answering our questions. The house was cozy and clean. We loved our stay.

A wonderful, peaceful, and cozy place to spend the weekend with friends or family. The perfect home for relaxing, connecting, and enjoying special moments together. The homeowners were very kind and allowed us to check out later. We will definitely come back again!

I planned a surprise fishing trip for my husband and chose Creekside Cabins after talking to the very helpful host, Debbie. The directions were clear, and the old barn landmark made it easy to find. We immediately thought, “We should bring the whole family next time!” The Shanty and the big cabin are close together, but noise wasn’t much of an issue. Inside our cabin, we hardly noticed neighbors. The first night it rained, so we grilled and relaxed in the cozy rocking chairs. The bed was very soft — I prefer firmer, but it was comfortable. Mornings with coffee on the patio overlooking the river were peaceful. My husband spent the weekend fishing while I read by the fire pit. The shared shower house was large and clean with good hot water and pressure. We’re already planning to return! Bonus: my husband broke his line trying to reel in a 3-footer and caught several carp — it’s definitely a good fishing spot!

Honey Run Falls Cabin was a perfect private getaway with 10 friends and dogs. VERY clean cabin and the pictures just don’t do it justice. There’s even an additional space with a table upstairs with extra room for air mattress (if needed). Plenty of space for dogs to explore in the backyard, tree coverage all around the property so was very private. Back patio was great when it was drizzling and same coverage over the hot tub. Mike & Mandy were very responsive, flexible & friendly, 5 stars!!

My family and I had such a great time at this cabin! It was beautiful and peaceful and even better than the photos! It was a little chilly and rainy during our stay, but fortunately we still had PLENTY to do because of all the amenities! Our favorite part was the hot tub! Perfect size and temperature for our group. The cabin was huge and had more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The hosts were amazing at communicating right away and even let us check in early! Overall, we had a blast here and made memories that will truly last a lifetime!!

What a wonderful find!! The house and property are beautiful. Chip’s place is close to Kenyon so we were able to get back and forth to campus to visit our daughter quickly. We are looking forward to staying there again.

Jenny's place was great. Had everything we needed, and very quiet. The surroundings are like a bird sanctuary. It's private but not secluded, their residence is about 500 feet away from the cabin. But they have taken measures to make it feel private. Literally the only drawback is the driveway. She did warn us before getting there that it was in need of repair, but bad is an understatement. It is almost undrivable especially if you are in anything lower than a minivan. We went 2 miles an hour and still bottomed out in some places. Just beware!! But overall great stay!

Me and my family’s 2nd time staying at the Trout Club for our Annual Easter get together. It was just as we remembered it. We love the open floor plan so we can all stay together playing pool, being in the Hot Tub, and enjoying meals or just snacking all within earshot of each other. The private spacious bedrooms are perfect for individual families. The deck and outdoor area is perfect for relaxing and just being in nature and the great outdoors. My Host Nikki was nice enough to offer late check out for an extra charge but to MY mix up I had thought I had asked for a 3:00 departure but I had actually asked for 2:00. So I greatly apologize for that. Thank you again Nikki for another great stay.

Great place, we all loved the kayak, paddle boat and of course the hot tub. Place was clean and easy to get into. Host left great recommendations for things to do nearby and we checked out one of the hiking trails. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends

This place was perfect for out group of six on a three-day getaway. The location is secluded, but not hard to get to. We really liked the spacious grounds and stocked fishing pond. The kitchen was well equipped with a nice professional gas range and plenty of cookware, utensils, etc. The bedrooms and baths were very clean and comfortable. The main living area was spacious and had a very nice TV viewing area. The patio with a large fire pit was right outside the lower level game room/bar and convenient half bath. Shane is a great host and, as an added bonus, his daughter offers a variety of baked goods for sale (highly recommended!). In short, everything met or exceeded our needs and we will likely be staying here again.

Great place for a girl’s weekend away. Bedrooms, shared space, and kitchen were just what we needed. Loved the hot tub and fire pit space. We lost power for a couple hours one evening due to weather and the owners were immediately responsive, kept us updated with information from the power company, and came by with bottled water, extra battery powered lights, and a battery charger for our phones. The area is beautiful and we found a perfect trail nearby for a hike (also a trail connected to property). Would definitely return and recommend.

A very unique location, complete privacy, except for all the Whitetail Deer and other terrific wildlife that we witnessed. Loved it!

Whispering Pines provided a fantastic base for our weekend visit to see family after many years. The last-minute booking process was smooth, and the price point was comparable to a two-room hotel, offering significantly more space and amenities. The cabin's location was excellent, being conveniently within 15 minutes of our family and nestled near the stunning Malabar and Mohican State Parks. As a pet-friendly property, we were delighted that our 6-pound Yorkie, Courage, was welcomed. While we primarily used the cabin for sleeping, my daughter enjoyed the hot tub. The property was accurately represented in the listing, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and communicative. Despite significant rainfall and nearby flooding, the cabin's hillside location provided easy and safe access. Overall, we had a truly enjoyable stay and would certainly choose Whispering Pines again for future visits.

This cabin is a perfect getaway. It had everything we could possibly need to enjoy cooking a few meals and getting some family time together. Karey left a great bottle of mimosa to celebrate our daughter’s 25th birthday. It was such a nice gesture. The cabin is so clean and cozy. We didn’t mind a cold rainy day because we were able to enjoy the wood burning stove. We loved the dollar hunt and the cabin had so many books, movies and games. There are some beautiful hikes nearby but you could honestly spend your entire trip at this cabin. We can’t wait to visit again!

Andreas, property was a great place for a weekend and riding bikes around the Mohican Wilderness. A secluded and private property with a large covered outdoor space which worked perfectly to store our bikes. Unfortunately rain kept us from being able to fully take advantage of the large fire pit but would be happy to book again in hopes of better weather. thanks again!

Our family gets together for Thanksgiving each year, we come in from Florida, PA and certainly Ohio. This year we chose this cabin / home and it was perfect. It really is a beautiful home and is large enough to accommodate our overnighters. I would absolutely recommend this home. A couple notes, the main fireplace is restricted from use, it was disclosed but it’s a focal point of the home and was disappointing not to be able to use it… Be aware the drive to the cabin once off the main road was challenging for an average car, I’m not sure if we had gotten snow, it would have been that easy to get back out… Also do not arrive after dark, that was a challenge, no lights were left on at all, we were 20’ from the cabin and could not see it… Now with that said, the atmosphere in and out was amazing. The fire pit outside was so much fun, the views are outstanding and the bottom line is we would absolutely recommend this property…
