Built in 1929, this old cozy country home was built with a country store. In the 50’s they were joined. A big room was added to the store portion, and is now a very unique meeting hall that features live music on occasion. Not part of the inn rental, but this space can be rented as well. Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

Located on Three Rivers Island in SE Louisiana. Leave all your worries behind and enjoy the relaxing experience at Our Little Diversion. Once you park your vehicle in the Three Rivers Island parking lot, you'll hop in our 4-seater black golf cart and start your adventure. We have fishing poles, a boat lift should you choose to bring your own boat, swings and outdoor seating, and all the creature comforts you need to enjoy your stay.
