Welcome to Makahawani!, we're one the best hidden home located on the slopes of Mt. Meru and surrounded by the coffee and banana farms. The area is always very quiet, safe, greener environment with a very scenic view of the mountain and unstoppable sound of the river flowing. It's one of the amazing home for both Tourists, Volunteers, Travelers and Locals. Makahawani is a Swahili word/name which means ''in the middle of coffee farm". You can also experience local swimming style in the river.

The old bell lounge & white house is the lounge that is located at Mateves in Arusha with the distance of 4.5 Kilometer from the Arusha airport. It is a friendly place with sweet able area to relax with your partner without worry. The lounge has the best services starting from rooms, drinks, foods and parking and also security of our guest properties. We have 12 room that are available for all our guest and within 24hrs. We are ready to service you and make you feel at home.
