Wow... That was our main word for this stay. The location and view was incredible. It instantly felt like a real relaxing getaway. We noticed some issues around cleanliness that I will share directly with the host so that they are aware, as this place deserves the best! The hot tub was an absolute highlight. Such a friendly and responsive host to chat to online. We had a fabulous time here and we definitely hope to return to this oasis on the hill!

Charming 3-Bedroom Retreat with Modern Comforts

what an amazing antique, tasteful and fun place to call it home away from home. They even have a veggie garden and a fig tree! We will definitely come back for the cosy, modern home yet with a historical touch of Christchurch.

such a beautiful place to just unwind listening to the waves and watching the sunset was the best part of the day warm cosy fully equipped to cook a meal at home everything you need when on a holiday beds warm with the electric blanket shower was a highlight amazing pressure seeing the bunny's playing on the grass was also great to see Claire is very accommodating just amazing women making sure we were all settled in thanks again Claire for hosting us will be differently be back 😁

The place doesn't look much from the outside but it is a great place to stay. Plenty of room, good kitchen and bathroom. As a wheelchair user the bathroom was a little small but still useable. You also get good WIFI and you are very close to the shops, restaurants and the beach.

Lovely comfortable compact property. Very clean and tidy. Convenient for shops, city centre, Linwood Pool and to beaches at New Brighton and Sumner. Off road garage parking very useful. Pond was very responsive and sent clear check in and check out instructions. Woukd definitely book again on future visits.

Thanks to our hosts for a lovely stay in this tidy modern apartment. It had everything we needed for a family holiday based in the centre of Christchurch. It was nice and quiet at night thanks to the double glazing! There are great cafes and restaurants within walking distance and free parking around the corner in Nova Place. Highly recommend!

We can highly recommend this Abnb. Good host with good communications. House is great and easily accommodated three families (12 in total). Lovely, clean, two bathrooms meant we all managed eaisliy to get showers etc. Certainly stay again. Lots to do in and around Castle Hill, suggest Mistletoe Track, reasonable effort but rewarded with a great view.

We had a very enjoyable stay and really wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage is in a very pretty and quiet setting, spotlessly clean and so very comfortable in all respects. Corinne and Stefan are excellent hosts and it was lovely to meet them. Highly recommended.

I love arriving at an Airbnb and finding that I do not have to provide the basics to live there for a few days. Lily provided the washing-up soap, dishwasher powder, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. There were even clothes-washing tabs. We had most of these things as we were travelling, but it was great to find out that if I thought of something, it was already ready to hand. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the towels were fluffy and soft. Lily was clear with her instructions and communications. All in all, a superb experience and hassle-free. The walk into the centre of Christchurch took 15 minutes, but for the most part, we used Uber, which was cheap, and the rides were plentiful.
