This house balances modern updates with the charm of a historic home. The location is excellent. Beds are comfortable and the heaters work great even on cold days (they worked so well that we ended up turning them off or down at times ). We really enjoyed our stay, and would come back again.

What a gem! Very clean, quiet, well decorated and cozy. Walking distance to a few local establishments. Be sure to check out Appalachian Trail Cafe for breakfast and Blue Ox Saloon for a good time.

Great spot. Quiet. Really clean place. Host was a great communicator. Had ice issues in the driveway due to the winter weather and it was handled immediately so we had no safety/slipping issues.

My friends and I had a great stay at Fred’s place. The apartment was very homey and cute. The location being across the street from katahdin general store was perfect. Everyone in the town was so helpful and friendly

Well first of all we had good snow this year. My girlfriend and I are snowmobilers. This is my 3rd year extended stay at Ginette's place and I absolutely love the place and look forward to returning next year. Lots of great restaurants in town. Great bagel shop walking distance. Everything needed is within close proximity. Ginette is an excellent host!!!

This has been a great housing option for our travel healthcare professional. Communication was prompt from the beginning, easy check-in, and our traveler was very complimentary of the unit and confirmed they were comfortable throughout the stay. Would highly recommend for long or short term stays.

Stayed at Alex’s place after the smooth stay we had a couple of weeks ago! Just as easy this time! He is responsive and helpful! The place is cute and a great stay!

I knew exactly where the place was from the description, but if you've never been to Houlton before you will find it in the center of town. I could walk to cute little stores, post office, library, restaurants, small park. Best kitchen for cooking of any small air bnb I've rented. Comfortable bed. Space for clothes, whether you prefer a suitcase stand or a closet and dresser. Comfortable living room seating. Good lighting. WARM (although it did take time to warm up). Good shower pressure. I will return.

We were in town for a hockey tournament, and were so grateful to have a quiet place to "go home" to between games, and to be able to cook meals for ourselves. Thank you Theron, we'll be back! <3
