Braidholm is our home on Skye. It's a 19th century building, warm and cosy. Step in from the weather and hunker down in the comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The kitchen is cottage style, with everything you'd expect in a modern home. Two bedrooms upstairs (kingsize in one, twins in the other, all with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread-count linen) with sea views . Two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite), a toilet downstairs. Private garden plus parking for 2 cars. 300m from the centre of Portree.

The Tin Sheds offer spacious, modern accommodation with spectacular waterfront views. The homes are a short 20 minute drive from the Skye Bridge and offer a centrally located base from which to explore the island. A supermarket, shops, cafes, restaurants, plus a pharmacy & fuel station are conveniently located in Broadford village, a 7 minute drive away. Key attractions including Portree, the Old Man of Storr, the Fairy Pools, Talisker Distillery are all approximately 30 - 40 mins away.

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. Spacious cabin beside the sea

Situated in the township of Braes, only a 15 minute drive from Portree, our cabin 'moonen' overlooks the Sound of Raasay. It sits on the sea side of an old church building, near the shoreline. It is peaceful here and a haven for wildlife. You can sometimes see whales and dolphins from your window and seals and otters on the nearby shore. Roe deer, sea eagles and buzzards are a common sight too. Enjoy beautiful views over to the Island of Raasay from both the bedroom and living area.

Remote Raasay Cottage

This cottage is in a remote position on the Isle of Raasay, and is the highest dwelling on the Isles. The weather can be extreme. It is a traditional croft cottage, with some original features retained. The sunroom faces WSW with a spectacular view of Skye from the Cuillins up to Trotternich. Wi-fi is good enough for emails, but not for video calls. Not necessarily suitable therefore for working online. You can walk directly from the cottage up Dun Caan and down to Inver beach.

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.
