The Wee Cottage by the Ferry

Our fully refurbished Wee Cottage offers incredible views over the River Clyde. Only 30 minutes from Glasgow and seconds from the ferry to Dunoon & Argyll highlands, you can spot seals & porpoises while you watch the sun set. There's a double bedroom upstairs and comfortable double sofa bed in the living room, fully equipped kitchen, free private parking, and we include a wee breakfast as well. Frost-Pocket is a beautifully restored former gamekeeper's cottage on the Ardgowan Estate, minutes away from the shores of the Clyde with its serene coastal walks and spectacular views across to Argyll. The cottage has two bedrooms; a double and a twin; a good sized bathroom; well-equipped kitchen, and a boot room with a washing machine & tumble dryer, and enclosed garden. The open plan sitting/dining room offers a cosy place to relax, with woodburning stove, high-speed wifi, and smart TV.

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

A stunning former lighthouse keeper’s cottage, Lighthouse Point has the most amazing views of the lighthouse and dramatic sea views down the Clyde approach, past Bute, towards Arran. Situated at Toward Point in Argyll, this beautiful cottage offers a luxurious stay with views to die for. If you can be tempted away from gazing out of the south facing sunroom, watching the sea, yachts and other marine traffic, it is less than two minutes’ walk to the water.

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
